Is PPR,
I have been a silent reader and it won’t be nice if I fail to share this great joy with my Nairaland family .

Timeline ;

I will say I’m a third time applicant though first was a visiting visa around 2018 and I was denied based on financial status and assets.

Second application which is for study and that was when i got to know about Nairaland Travel section and I messaged @Anon123 and asked him to guide me through with my application . Then we submitted on 5th of April 2022 after two month, 8th June hot breakfast was served and we applied for gcms immediately and it came out around 29th of July :

Refusal reasons: unexplained lump sums and also the VO stated that the cooperate account statement provided that I did not explain relationship b/w the employee/employer .

What we did different : I paid additional tuition of 9500$ with the previous deposit of 2000$ making it a total sum of 11500$ ,I also went to bank requested for a reference letter stating that am sole signatory to my cooperate and savings account and also added few sales receipts /invoice of my business then we re-fired on 21st of August and PPR dropped on 10th of November.

Documents submitted

1. Letter of acceptance
2. Tuition receipt
3. Marriage certificate
4. Cac certificate
5. My wife’s cac certificate
6. 2 power of attorney of landed documents
7. Property valuation certificate
8. Tenancy agreements from my tenants
9. Sales receipt/invoice from my business
10. Police clearance certificate
11. Cooperate and savings account statement
12. My 2 kids birth certificate
13. Family pictures

I want to specially thank God almighty for making this Canadian dream a reality. I give him all the glory and also i want to thank @Anon123 for pointing me at the right direction and also all the gurus in the house . To the PPR hopefuls keep the faith alive it will surely end in praise . Amen

What is bothering me now is that I can’t find my biometrics receipt anymore though will be doing walk in passport submission since I live in Abuja until I get there this week will find a way out .

Congratulations, go to where you did your biometrics for a possible reprint.

The land of Canada will favor you.

Please I need opinions on this: I recently sent in my application but the medical review section on the application reads "You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.", is this normal? As I clearly would require a medical exam.

You can decide to wait for them to request for a medical exam from you or you do an upfront medical. Which ever one you choose to do, you’ll still do a medical exam.

Goodluck

Congratulations.

Please you stated in the first document, as letter of acceptance.

Acceptance to school or what?

As your visa route says PPR.

PPR simply means, Original Passport Request while they Acceptance Letter is also Admission Letter.

Go to page one of this thread and also previous thread and read from Start

You need not be in a hurry..these things takes time if you really want to get it right..

Acclimatize yourself with reading from start to finish then shoot!

So many people have dropped their timeline..you will be surprised to see one that matches your profile

Pls and pls help a sister in need, I can't explain how I have been feeling since I received this refusal, the agent that packaged the application did not do a good work at all, she did not not request for asset documents, wrong calculation of the required amount in account etc. I got to know about the error when I joined this platform, my application had passed the review stage when I discovered.

Pls I want to do it myself this time, pls help me with the documents I need to apply for my husband and 3kids.

Pls let God use you to help me overcome. mary.ngozi@yahoo.com

Go to GTB. Request that you want to open a pre paid dollar account. Before you go, have about $50 with you in cash. They will open an account for you immediately and you get your pre paid dollar card. There after you can buy dollar from aboki, deposit and make all your payments. The disadvantage of prepaid dollar card is that you cam only spend like $5k in a quarter whereas the $ Mastercard is limitless but it takes 8 business working days to get.

These are your best options if you dont have someone to pay for.ypu on time
What is the $50 for?

Good morning,

Centennial College defers admission. I deferred my admission from September 2022 to May 2022 because I don't have my PPR as of the September intake resumption date. I was even advised to defer my admission.

koreanlord:
Thank you sis....and I have paid the deposit oooo

I found contradictory information on that same website... What do you think about the attached photos?

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by yusmuf001: 11:26am On Nov 14, 2022
I think you can only defer when you have paid your complete first-semester tuition fee. I have a friend who has the same challenge, and they advised her to pay the first-semester fee completely.

Please note that the 2,650 is somehow not refundable.

quote author=Dopeyomi post=118348625]

Same here I’d love to defer from May 2023 to September intake due to financial reasons, but I think you should apply again when you’re ready since you’ve not paid the 2,650 tuition deposit, let’s wait for the gurus to respond.[/quote]

If an agent applied for you and it was rejected so quickly, then there are some red flags in it, did you see the documents the agent uploaded for the application?
How much was your POF? Are you sponsoring yourself or you have a sponsor?

Go ahead and request for your GCMS notes.

Many thanks.

I've actually done upfront medicals and uploaded same with the application. I just want to confirm if that remark ( You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.) is normal at the initial application stage.
