According to experienced mothers, 3 months for girls and 4 months for boys.

There are wipes to clean baby's gum in the market. You can use that. Wrap around your finger to clean the tongue.
That's what I use for my baby when his Paediatrician said it can build up to cause a fungal infection.

Yes, I bought silicone tongue scrubber and cotton wool and I clean her mouth everyday, the stains are gone. Thank you.

At our 6 weeks appointment pediatrician recommended using cotton wool and water wrapped around a finger to wipe baby's tongue and to exercise caution so you don't leave lint in baby's mouth

At the sight of a tooth we switched to the silicone mouth cleaner still with water only

These are the two remedies that worked for me. Thanks a lot.

Since we moved to Lagos from Portharcourt 2months ago, my 13months old princess has been having catarrh. I took her to the health centre, she was given Piriton, aquclav and vitc but no changes after emptying the bottles. I went to the pharmacy and was given catafed, the result is the same. Took her again to a private hospital for children and was given flemming antibiotics, vit c and Zinc sulphate and Piriton (she was having fever and purging). Her health is better but the catarrh is still there. Seeing her breath while sleeping is painful to watch because she struggles to breath.

Nb: She baths with hot water. I also use hot water and handkerchief to massage her nose. I keep her warm always. She is still using vit c and becombion as routine drugs.

What else can I do because I am confused.

Sadly, it seems Asif my breastfeeding days will soon be over.
I went from pumping like 3 bottles at a time like three times daily, to just two bottles, to just one.. now I can't even pump half bottle in like 5hours.. sadly. Even tho pap and water and me nah 5 and 6.
Whatever made my breasmilk dry up didn't even wait for my baby to reach 6 months. That is his favorite food...d joy when he is taking it ehn

On the brighter side, I'm glad he now takes pap well and formula small small.. and also, he is growing well . . That makes me so happy

Happy Sunday from my boy that refuse to suck bress directly .. grin

Thanks. Went to the hospital and they advised intense cleaning with spirit. It has still not fallen tho

Pele mama, i hope it has fallen off now or would you try chlorhexidine gel? that gel seals like crazy and dries out the cord faster, that's what i used for my son, also avoid getting the stump wet

My baby was bitten by mosquito yesterday, is it okay to use anti malaria drug. She is 11 weeks old. If I need to use, which one can I use? I’m just worried because I don’t know if the bite will lead to malaria and I have taken more precautions so that she doesn’t get bitten again

I am a first time mum, I added abf tube cream and Biniowan coconut oil to my baby's jimpo Ori cream and red rashes come out of his body. Please mum in the house. What can cause this. Have stopped using the cream for now.
Could it be the Abf or it is what Yoruba call Igbalode?

Don't worry mama She will walk very soon once she is ready, don't compare her or listen to people saying their children walked at 6months.

I have two kids and they both walk at 15 and 16 months respectively.
