I’m just being logical as to why a secular country with English as her lingua Franca will inscribe Arabic just to appease some section of the country without balancing same act to other sections.

It's Hausa in Arabic script.

What is written there is meaningless to an Arab.

Most languages are written in Roman script, but if I wrote something in Spanish, or Portugese, just because it is written in Roman script does not mean that you or i could understand it.

Hausa, for many centuries...was written in Arabic script. The Roman script is a recent innovation (came around 1900-30.).

If an Arab read it, it won't mean anything to him. Just like us reading the below word...

But at the end, many Hausas still use the Arabic script to write their language...so the inscription remains.

Many African languages in Africa, were written in Arabic script. Swahilli...which is spoken by millions of people throughout East and Central and South Africa, used to be written in Arabic script...see below.(That is in Swahilli, an Arab won't be able to understand what was written down there). As were many other languages..(Persian, Urdu, even Turkish).

Language is neutral. If we want to label Arabic a muslim lingo...then we must label Roman script a Roman pagan lingo..since it was invented by the Romans who worshipped many gods, and did human sacrifices on occasion....(Cyrillic script, which is used to write Russian and Serbian, was invented by two Christian missionaries...in the 4th century CE.).
