PDP Crisis: Wike’s Non-support Won’t Affect Us - Daniel Bwala by Corrinthians(m): 4:35pm On Nov 23, 2022
The spokesman of the Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) Daniel Bwala believes Governor Nyesom Wike’s non-support won’t affect the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s chances of winning next year’s election.

Governor Wike and his allies better known as the G5 are at loggerheads with the leadership of the main opposition party since the presidential primary. The former minister lost to Atiku Abubakar in the exercise but claims the election was not fair and is insisting on the resignation of the PDP national chairman Iyorchia Ayu. The group has also pulled out of the party’s presidential campaign, maintaining that Atiku and the PDP chief are from the same region of the country.

But Bwala has downplayed the move, saying the party is poised to win next year’s presidential election.

“Our party is poised to win the election. Wike’s non-participation would affect a little bit of the margin. So, if we are supposed to win with nine million votes or eight million votes, that may reduce to six million votes or something like that,” he said on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily on Wednesday.

“But this victory is destined by God and I can tell you that there can be conspiracy and collaboration or anything. We know the Electoral Amendment Act and what it brings. We saw it in Osun where some members of our party even worked against the party in that state.

“But what happened? The ‘Dancing Senator’ (Ademola Adeleke) danced his way to victory because the people spoke and their voices were held. This is how we are going to be looking at this election because the bigger picture is what we are looking at. Have you not seen the multi-dimensional poverty index?”

Bwala also claimed that the Rivers State Governor “chased” the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi, Governor Dave Umahi, and others out of the PDP. He, however, maintained that the Atiku is committed to uniting Nigeria despite the crisis in the party.

grin Wike and his G5 are bloody cowards, that will still beg to support Atiku..

When governors and top PDP members chose to work against Jonathan, they didn't wail while still being card carrying members of PDP.

They left the PDP and stood like men with purpose .

Wike just wants to be in the conversation and deceive fulls in APC....

Atiku is coming

Big fat lie.

Rivers and Oyo are enough to finish PDP.

Wike is undoubtedly a tremendous force to reckon with.

Even if PDP remove Ayu today, Wike and his likes will still find something to talk about.
If the 5 Governors decided not to work with Waziri, so be it. It is their right!

Wike and his cohorts will continue to rant as much as they want, but one thing is certain, Atiku and his campaign train have moved on.
If it had been ordained that Waziri will be the president of Nigeria, no born of a woman can stop him and vice versa.

Let me tell you why most of you are believing rubbish here and deceiving yourself or being hypocritical over this G5 position that it will affect PDP chance of winning the election. You believe that Obi will do well in South South that LP doesn't have any governor or senator etc. You believed that he would win South South and yet you are believing that the G5 governors not supporting PDP as a party will effect PDP chance, no be juju be that. Election will be decided by the people not governors. I live in Delta State and Obi is doing well here that shows that it's not about the governors but the people. So make una rest with this governors not supporting PDP.

This man that calls himself Daniel Bwala is nothing but a hypocrite with no shame. Always speaking with the two sides of his mouth for his own personal enrichment. He has been with APC for 7 years and just jumped into PDP less than 5months ago. This is the type of nonentity that contributed to our problem in Nigeria. He calls himself a lawyer but a reformed liar.
I see Nigerian lawyers as epidemic cos they can argue without their brain

I'm not a wike fan, but do not underestimate the influence of Wike.
All woke is seeking for is fairness and equity.
You want to eat your cake and have it.
Your Presidential candidate is a northerner
Your Party Chairman is a northerner.
Your DG of campaign is a Northerner.
Had it not been for wike who stood by pdo all these years where was your Atiku?
He was in Dubai chilling.
Do the right thing for your party let everyone have peace.
