I want to start learning app development but i just want to know if the laptop will be suitable for it. I'd appreciate your responses.

why would you even install windows 10 on that kind of laptop? first thing you need to do in my opinion is to downgrade it back to windows 7, you'd be doing yourself a lot of good considering the specs of the laptop.
Once you've done that, then the next thing you do is to choose another career path in tech that's no app development because I don't think you can do app dev with that thing. I'm not an app dev but with the stories I've heard, android studio will turn that laptop into a hot plate wey you fit use cook beans.

You can't use it for mobile app development.
The ram size is too small, you need at least 8gb ram, if you choose to install android studios, unity game engine or visual studio.

For web dev yes!

For mobile dev no! It will frustrate u.

Lol... . The window 10 came with it, or rather I think I updated it myself. Can't remember the details.

6GB RAM Would do just fine.

Only thing that makes that your system bad is the processor speed.


Look for something 2.6ghz upwards.


Even if you have 20Gb of RAM

If the processor speed is low, your system will still hang and freeze.


Higher RAM simply helps apps to still run in the background... it doesn't care about the speed you'd use to process/use those app... that's where cpu clock speed comes in.


Look for system with higher clock speed next time

Hey bro my laptop is core i7 2nd gen but runs at 2.8ghz
How come? Because most laptops higher than mine runs at 2.6

With 4gb ram 2.4hz 320hhd web dey frustrate it becos I HV to use laravel and vuejs together with application software to set it up
