PRETORIA, January 1. /TASS/. South Africa took over the chairmanship of the BRICS group (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) on Sunday.

The South African Foreign Ministry’s spokesman told TASS that the country planned to maintain the group’s effective activities during its 2023 chairmanship. According to the official, South Africa’s priorities would include strengthening economic, political, social and cultural cooperation between the member states. According to South African Foreign Ministry Spokesman Clayson Monyela, the country will host a BRICS summit in August.

South African Foreign Minister Naledi Pandor said earlier that the country would seek "to provide strategic leadership during the tenure as BRICS chair, in close consultation with other members, based on the chair’s agenda and priorities and previously agreed-upon decisions." She added that a summit, ministerial meetings and other events would be held based on consensus, and continuity in BRICS work would be ensured.

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, in turn, stated that the group needed to play an important role in leading the process of creating new decision-making mechanisms within the United Nations and other international organizations in order to establish a more inclusive, fair and stable world order.

Diplomatic sources in the South African capital told TASS that talks on BRICS expansion would take place in the coming months. Algeria, Argentina and Iran have already applied to join BRICS, while Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Egypt have announced their interest in becoming the group’s members.

The BRIC group was created by Brazil, Russia, India and China in 2006 and turned into BRICS after South Africa joined it in 2011.

I love how South Africa did not shamelessly participate in the recently concluded US-Africa summit. Since Nigeria refuse to act like a giant with sense, south Africa perhaps should take the lead.

Buhari is a puppet to the West.

Barack Obama and David Cameron gave him massive support to defeat Jonathan in 2015. So he must be loyal to his master.

Yes, Ramaphosa told them to fork off, a huge blow to the US ego. SA is the torchbearer of economic development and prosperity in Africa, hence, it must align with the emerging world, and hope to bring others in the continent on board.

Nigeria is a western puppet. It still belongs to the British. Know this and know peace.

Of course, I know. I have always said earlier that what Africans considered independence was a transition of the old method of exploitation (colonialism), to a new, self-sustaining, sophisticated method of permanent subjugation (imperialism).

They replace the white colonial faces with black faces, whom they promise all the support and will ignore all their crimes if they continue sustaining all their exploitative structures that were built in the colonial era.

So as countries were getting their so-called independence, they were ushered into western imperialistic ecosystems. So they became a member of the UN, and ICC, must use the dollar, imposed educational systems, their corporations coming in to control their resources, (eg Shell and Nigeria oil), and so on.

In simple terms, think of how a butcher moves the cows from the farm to the slaughterhouse. In the cow's mind, he is free from the enclosed farm, but the slaughterhouse though modern and shiny with machines is worse than where they were coming from.

You see the way the US froze billions of dollars of Afghanistan's foreign reserves, and as they did with Russia as well, that's exactly the fate that awaits any country that tries to pull off their imperialistic eco-system.

While we are busy fighting each other like idiots, they are up there designing sophisticated systems to keep others down, and themselves on top. And this world order must go, or else, the global south will never develop.

China refused to be part of that system, now look at them. Iran refused and was sanctioned to death, but they still thrive and built their own planes and so forth. Until we leave western dependence and walk our own part, no magic Peter Obi will perform. It's like putting a pilot in a ship, it can't do anything with it.

How can the world be democratic when less than 15% of the world population (the west) controls everything? if this is not authoritarianism, then what is authoritarianism?

But I always take responsibility, so I won't blame them much, I blame our ancestors for letting this degrade this badly, and makes it harder for current and future generation to solve. The rot is too much.

Russian passport easy na, they need people lol. the country is too big, but their population is going down. And the Russian government has lots of packages to encourage birth, and if you marry a Russian woman, you can live in the largest country on the planet, and be out of western imperialism known as liberal democracy.

I will never blame our ancestors because whites were and are still light years ahead of us.
Let me tell you one thing - the system that will be used to rule us in 50-100 years time is being designed and signed by our leaders in this present age.
Why are they signing it now? Because presently it looks okay and makes sense to the eye but deep down, the underlying plan is not open nor understandable to the present generation except a handful of people.
One of the systems laid down presently by the whites for their own future generations to rule and lord over our own future generations is Aftca (this is just one out of many).
How does it work?
The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) is a free trade area encompassing most of Africa. It was established in 2018 by the African Continental Free Trade Agreement, which has 43 parties and another 11 signatories, making it the largest free-trade area by number of member states, after the World Trade Organization and the largest in population and geographic size, spanning 1.3 billion people across the world's second largest continent.
Buhari was over-pressured to sign this in 2021.
It is not a plan for today and doesn’t look harmful for today but it is a plan for the future of the west and their kids and by then, it will be so harmful to us and very hard to pull out.
Any african president that doesn’t yield to the pressure to sign it will either lose the next election or coup plotted against him or won’t find his country governable and before any future presidential candidate will get the west backing to win the current president in election or win the current president party presidential candidate, he needs to agree to sign this dangerous act.
To the average joe or citizen, there is nothing harmful in this agreement.
Your average educated illiterates will debate and argue with you and defend it.
Do I blame them ? No. It is the level of their thinking and present exposure.

As I was saying about Accra - it is economic suicide.
There is a reason the economy of smaller countries that signed into European Union collapsed to the benefit of Germany, France and UK. Outside these 3 countries, other countries in the union are more or less gbewudani.
Reason? Because the union even though looks okay on face value and meant to provide security for the smaller countries, it killed them economically reason why the big 3 have to regularly give them money yearly to sustain simply because the reason while these other countries are suffering is because the big 3 are feeding host and sucking them dry.
I have 2 captains I worked with (1 polish and 1 Croatian) and they both claimed many of their manufacturing companies, factories and businesses folded up upon signing European Union agreement and these jobs popped up especially in Germany.
Reason why polish, Croatian etc always troop to Germany/UK/France to work because the agreement opens their local borders and renders their local laws to protect the local companies against foreign competitors with cheaper goods thereby killing the local companies and the present generations of the smaller countries wole up to graduate but no jobs in their countries and rather had to migrate or move to the big 3s’.
Let me give you a good example-
Let’s assume Nigeria signs agreement with Thailand to have open and free borders between the 2 countries. What do you think will happen to us?
Many of our rice, vegetable oil , poultry etc will fold up because they won’t be able to compete with the Thailand companies.
Do you know that Thailand rice won’t be more than 15k per bag if it is allowed to enter nigeria directly and not smuggled through benin rep?
The cost of smuggling, bribing, high tariffs, cost of transportation into the country are the reason Thailand rice is above 30k per bag. Given an open border with no tarrif, that rice will cost about 15k while the local rice farmers won’t be able to compete favourably with them.
Consumers in nigeria will be very happy with the new development and say that it is better because the local farmers with their rice, vegetable oil, chickens etc are reaping them off. So with 30k, you can stock up your house with food for the month but there is always a price to pay.
The consumers children will grow and graduate but no jobs.
Where are the jobs and factories to work? Thailand opening more and more bigger factories to sell to us.
We will end up exporting our jobs and importing the cheap foods we consume.
We can’t eat our cake and have it.

So all it takes is for PZ, unilever etc who have been complaining of bad power/electricity in nigeria to pack up and relocate to ghana or benin and start producing there while they distribute to us.
It is far cheaper for them.
They don’t need to have Unilever nigeria/ghana/Togo/benin etc and paying tax to each country monthly, bribing each countries govt. monthly or have to deal with the rigorous humans wahala of each country.
Just setup a gigantic Unilever in ghana with constant light and cheaper labors, pay tax to just one country and bring the goods to others.
We will wake up to see all companies adopt this same strategy and wake up to see there are no more jobs around.
So we are forced to go apply in ghana with other nationalities.
This causes a heavy loss of revenue to other nations (including us), loss of jobs, increase in crime rate and prostitution among many things.
So the next plan is to merge as many african countries together so that movement of their goods within us will be going without hinderance or restrictions at the detriment of our govt and people.
It is very long and deep bro and I can’t explain everything here

Engaging those ignoramus folks on this forum lately is frustrating.
First they're ignorant halfwit and dunce

And they have this Choplogical behavior even when an undebatable fact is shown to them.

The worst case scenario is when you engage them with facts on why their slave masters are bad to an extent, they become's prō-pō, because you can't say anything bad about them.
Those of them that are cantankerous will always find a way to argue with you, those who are not will resort to insult.
That was why I stopped commenting, but am resuming soon thanks to you.

It is indeed very refreshing to find enlightened black people who are interested in world history, the future and the workings of the powers that be as opposed to the mundane and ignorant chatter that populates most threads on this forum. I am a young Nigerian in my early 20’s and I have always loved studying history. My personal motto is “The past is the key to the future”. Only by understanding where we are coming from and who we were can we understand who we are, why we are where we are and affect who we will be and where us and our future generations will be in the future. Unfortunately most black people simply do not care about what goes on behind the scenes. Like farm animals, all they care about is consuming, mating and reproducing and that is why we black people are still at the bottom of the human food chain. It is really good to know that there are few amongst us who care about knowledge and are willing to teach and share what they know. People like this are the only hope the next generation of Africans have. People who aren’t distracted by the enormous amount of noise that is generated and shared daily on the internet. 70% of Africans are below the age of 30, we are a young generation. I believe the black race is slowly but surely healing from slavery, colonialism and neocolonialism. Information must be free, freely shared and accessible to all who wish to be informed. We must carve for ourselves a more secure place as black humans on Planet Earth. Keep up the good work, wise elders. Guys. Good morning. I really enjoyed going through this thread. I’m really proud and happy that panAfricanism has come to stay. The good news is that we are currently building up a team of like minds, that spans across many African countries. Feel free to join the group and become part of the team. I am curious to read his answer. The same SA where the president responds to every invite by a western leader and has the highest number of whites in Africa. Ignorant people go just open mouth say puppet without looking at the history. It is like saying India is Russia's puppet, but they forget that Russia stood behind India for donkey years when the west placed sanctions on India and supported her arch-rival - Pakistan. So, why should India now nod to every whim of the west regarding sanctioning Russia?

In fact, based on apartheid alone, today's South Africa should even be puppets to Russia and China, yet she is not.

But hey, open mouth waaaaaaaaa, even though the mouth is smelly.
