Lol..the only reason you thought he was ugly in lovecraft country was because he was "beardless" when he acted his role for that film, and you know most guys don't look all that good without dem beards..his transformation isn't really that much of a big deal, he only just bulked up some few pounds and grew back his beards😂..na fine bobo normally

I can see the empathy and pain the real life event caused but this movie was so subpar that I couldn't feel any empathy towards the actors. I watched it with disgust.
The actors were very bad, I don't know where they got them from.
The directing was very bad, the cinematography na 'just manage', the camera work is nothing to write home about. The only thing that held up in the film is the rl story and nostalgia🌚😏

Hollywood put alot of emphasis on looks.
To have a shot at being a leading man/woman in Hollywood, an aspiring actor is expected to be good looking or at least photogenic.
Although sometimes, someone comes along who has a talent that transcends attractiveness and works their way up the food chain against all odds.
....Don Cheadle, Steve Buscemi, Whoopi Goldberg....

Having said that, Majors is an attractive young man.
He has that classic handsome negroid look.

Not everyone can rock broad features like he does.
