FYI bros, u for ask question how I dey do am, not to start castigating and throwing words into the winds like ure doing.

Basically, my way of driving with both legs on auto trans is one leg on throttle and other is hanging until I want to use the brakes. I don't use both legs at d same time.

When I need to accelerate, my right go down on the throttle, when brakes is needed I release the throttle and use my left leg on the brakes. I have mastered this quite well not over stress my engine and tranny like you believe.

Its what works for me so oga, stick with what works for you. No be by force to use 2 legs, na u buy motor for me?

Omo, and your legs doesn't collide when using your left leg to step on brake?

This is wrong even though you feel you're perfect with it, can't imagine myself moving my both legs to drive auto, it's easy when driving manual and that's because clutch stays a little bit distance away from brake so there won't be leg collision but as for accelerator and brake, they are too close to be using both legs for...

Anyway, stick to what works for you but trust me, if I teach you how to interchange accelerator and brakes with 1 leg, you will forget using your both legs to drive auto...

Lol,

Nice analysis but not needed when there's Google map, Google map is the best to avoid traffic route...

Yes, boss. Map is best for route movement.
I use G-map on the move, but I use bolt to see the whole picture while I'm parked somewhere or when I dey house.
Much respect, boss.

Glithronix:

1) Indrive commission is 9.99% (just say 10%).

2) As a new person in the hustle, I go advise you register on bolt and make bolt your main cruise for probably a month. Though, bolt is not worth it as per say their commission is 25% of your earning. But bolt will take you to where you no know grin and that's where you will gather experience on your number (3) question.
In this hustle, lecturing won't teach you all you should know, experience is the best teacher.

3)...

4) don't click on a different price other than what the passenger proposes. If you see a ride with 2k, accept the 2k like that and don't negotiate. With that, you will get rides.
If you feel the amount is not reasonable considering the destination of the passenger, just ignore it and wait for more rides you can go with.

Additionally:
Yeah, there are routes you should avoid, but I know that it will depend on your judgement as later on.
When I started new, there's no where bolt didn't take me to. grin
E remain small dem for take me to sambisa forest. Ah! Bolt showed me shege and me being a newbie, na every ride I dey accept until I start to dey gather experience and picking from the experiences of the bosses on this platform.
So, you might need to register on bolt and use it for a while, so that you go know road well well and the places you should avoid.
Na the experience you gather on bolt is what will be your handpack to run indrive.
What you should be very concerned about is avoiding anything that will get you in the hands of LASTMA and those area boys.
Avoid anything one-way and illegal parking.
Well, with time, you will be able to identify the avoidable.
As someone said, avoid Ikorodu, Festac/Okota/Ago Palace environs.
You can only find me in those areas on Sundays (only) and the amount must worth it, and na once in a blue moon self. Sunday is always free of congestion and people move around for church fellowship - that's the reason.
You Wey never know your way to island heheheheeee, abeg avoid those areas.
The major armor of an experienced driver in this hustle is knowing all roads and locations, then other things follow.
The more you hustle, the more you know.
Please avoid driving at night till you gather enough experience that gives you confidence.
Much respect, honourable.

Very insightful

But as for me when I started, I didn't even join any group or ask for experience, I just followed my instincts and guts....

I didn't even know many places in Lagos back then but today, I can proudly say google map is in my head, I only make use of the map to check traffic routes, sometimes, my rider will ask me do I know where they are going cuz I don't check map, I just glance through it and see where to avoid and where to take...

All I know is, within your 1st 2 months, your mind should tell you whether you can cope with the hustle or not, and if your mind tell you, you can't cope, pls kindly exit the hustle...

It popped up on my screen yesterday.
I think indrive really means business.
Heheheheheee.
But still, I prefer crediting my account without having any pending negative balance.
Indrive already made that easy.
Much respect, bosses.

Lolz, I trust my Nigerian people, if the overdraft is upto 10k like bolt own, they will purposely owe that and register with another number to avoid paying the outstanding...

If you're determined to use benz, go for it. Just give it extra care and maintenance. Don't slack in any way, don't postpone any service or repairs.

Even majority of our local mechanics seem confused with the engine bay, they find it very difficult to decipher.lets say out of ten mechanics, only like two
will help solve it's issue the remaining eight mechanics will either turn you back or do trial and error, unlike your regular japanese econoboxes like Honda and Toyota wey every mechanic na master, besides benz parts ehn are pricey ooo, benz carry luxury tag just like bmw and Lexus. So Mr edonna look your pocket well before you near benz

Once the mechanics hear it's Benz they will just tell you no outrightly and the one that will fix it will bill you because they know mechanic is scarce for the brand. Imagine you car breakdown while hustling, do you know the kind of stress you will go through just to find mechanic and if you don't find any, you will have to call you mechanic to come to that location.

Guys av just been thinking lately......if Peter obi or bat man becomes president, they both said they will remove subsidy and if that happens fuel may cost as much as 800 per liter just like diesel(diesel subsidy was removed a long time ago).....and if that happens festac to lekki phase 1 that used to be 5k,6k,7k will now be 15k-20k(will people be able to afford that much?).
I hope this doesn't affect the demands for rides.
What do u think guys?
