As INEC wraps up the collation of 2023 governorship election results, i am curious to know how many labour party governorship candidates won their election. I have heard of quite a few PDP and APC governorship winners.

That shows that Peter Obi is the most popular politician in Nigeria today. The labour party does not have the structure and personalities to win any state. It was Peter Obi personal profile that won the 12 states.

Neither Tinubu nor Atiku can acheive that.

The only politicain who has acheive similar feat is Buhari.

In 2011, he won almost the entire NW and NE. However in Guber election, his party ,CPC won only one state , Nassarawa.

I agree with you to an extent. But don't forget It was Tinubu who almost singlehandedly installed Buhari into power. So there's no basis for comparing him with Atiku or Obi.
But I agree with you in terms of Obi's influence on labour party, I even have a feeling that if the governorship election was done on the same day as the presidential, labour party would have won up to 7 states based on the Obi effect.

it should only tell you that the Obidient movement was a national project and not about a political party.

If Obi was an independent candidate, he would still have received the wide spread support he received. It's only those benefiting from the rotten Nigerian system that didn't support Obi
