Sincerely that middle setup first of sll na disaster. They couldn't even do their job atall that iwobi kept going back to see balls to feed his strikers. It's high time Iheanacho stops seeing 1st XI shirt at the detriment of our midfield setup abeg.

Peseiro bringing Onuachu in was proof he wanted the 2nd half to be cross and nod. Silly thinking. There's nothing special about this GB boys atall. But this pitch is crap.

Whatever blame is to be shared, I'll exonerate Iwobi and Osimhen. The rest dey vex me.

Peserio na mumu..... Onuachu shouldn't have been called up in the first place... I was surprised Iheanacho even started...

Even if the NFF wanted to save cost by letting the u-23 and the super eagles camp together, couldn't they have at least found a separate training pitch for them? I thought the Abuja stadium had a training pitch...

No serious team use it's main pitch for training unless they want the pitch to wear out

Bright osayi Samuel baller

His not a baller he, simon, chukwueze had chances to low-cross the ball into the box for Osimhen to run onto and score tap-in but they kept stopping or dribbling into the box and shooting ball anyhow.

Ordinary Uganda vs Tanzania was beautiful to watch! I would say Nff is the most useless organization in the world. They are lucky that 2 teams will qualify! Unfortunately for us CAF has approved Guinea Bissau stadium. Abi, it cannot be worse than ours.

Nigeria is not a serious country.
We cannot provide a descent pitch for our national team.
I intermittently switched to the CIV vs Comoros and RSA vs Lib games and I was ashamed of my country.

Qualifiers that used to be "a piece of cake" for Gernot Rohr have now become a herculean task for subsequent coaches since he left.

I advise everyone to bring out their calculators (both manual and scientific), because you may just be needing them for the permutations and combinations we triumphantly avoided under Rohr. 😆😆

I don't even have strength to talk again. Super Eagles have now turned to "Anything you see, take am like that" 🤣🤣

I was mad. I was already celebrating until I saw him held on to the ball and pass to Chukweze! Nevertheless, he was outstanding!

Rohr started well with the super eagles, but along the way he lost it and the team was deteriorating... Peserio is just much worse...

Osimehn needs to calm down with his body language whenever things don’t go his way. This is one of the reasons why Cristiano is hated. He will get away with this attitude if he keep scoring but the moment that he stops scoring like today, it’s a toast.

There was a shot Chukwueze narrowly missed in the second half, prior to which Osayi had a chance to square the ball to Osimhen who was free .instead he controlled it and waited before passing to Chukwueze.. Osimhen was visibly angry ..

Honestly I'm at a point where I just don't care anymore, Nigeria has sucked the life and passion out of me that I'm left with nothing.

Where do I even start from to vent? the whole problem starts from the coach himself, who scouted, interviewed and hired this brainless Portuguese fraud? those NFF officials that approved the appointment of Peseiro need to be questioned for treason and jailed for bringing Nigerian football to this ebb of unacceptable mediocrity. Anyone who watched the pre-match presser when Peseiro struggled to even articulate himself well in proper English when asked questions will understand why we have a fundamental problem in Nigeria...first question that inundated my baffled mind when I watched that joke of a pre-match presser was "How the hell does this man even communicate with his players on the training ground?", the slowpoke even justified his daft reasons for inviting yumyum fc players and inactive benchwarming deadweights into the team. NFF tacitly approved a clueless manager to invite ONLY 4 midfielders with Iwobi being the only one playing regular minutes at his club, Ndidi aside from been rusty is done as a player, he offers completely nothing...what happened to inviting some of the U20 boys to provide depth and energy in the midfield? I'm sure they wouldn't have performed any worse! Let's not even talk about the pathetic defenders we have, Bassey has blowed hot and cold at Ajax and Akpoguma has never struck me as a solid defender...I will bet the U20 pair of Ogwuche and Benjamin Fredericks would have put up a more gutsy performance than this overrated junks we have.

No midfield, Osimhen tried but it was always going to be the same old story of all huff and puff with no end product, because he's playing with garbage (I bet he was wishing he was back playing with more cerebral players like Kvaratskhelia, Politano, Anguissa etc).

Bleep NFF for finally destroying Nigerian football, if these charlatans had any dint of honor left in them, they should issue a official press statement apologizing to Nigerian fans for wasting our time, and then fire this Portuguese square-jawed junk coach, beg Finidi to take over the team on an interim basis and guide the team over the next qualifier series.

Useless bunch
