Why is Lagos State your headache ![]() You should be more concerned and worried about your state and not a state that embarks on mega and world-class projects and ensure that those projects are completed and put to use. You should be worried about states that build sub-standard projects and make a lot of noise about them on social media. ![]() post=122180147: |

opamoses1:75℅ of Anambra state has been washed by erosion. yet he's obsessed with Lagos state and southwest. Anambra is meant to be competing with Imo, Enugu, Ebonyi, and Abia states. After all, they are in the same region. |

FireUpNow:Looking at just the debt is not telling the whole picture. If you have #20,000 and borrow #5000 and someone with #5000 borrowed #1000. Looking at just the loan you will say the #5000 loan is higher but when you look at the income you will know that they both have the same debt to income ratio of 20% Excessive debt is bad for any government. However, a visionary government need loan to provide infrastructure that generate economic activities that leads to more employment for the people. |

The way Anambra and Lagos state competing on social media eh. I wished the governors should try and compete like this. This is the best for democracy and development. But trust Nigerians. It's is now something else what should bring positive zeal and motivation might bring serious issues. Well, Rivers state aren't doing bad with the kind of development going on there. Woke is trying. I don't know if I can say same for Akawibom. |

Cry for your state and stop taking panadol for another person's headache. Your lies against Okowa could not stop his preferred successor from winning the polls. Okowa has done well for his state, follow up with his activities and projects in the state to see that he's working ok. And stop ranting. emmyN: |

post=122181648:The government of the west is actually wise. They barely borrow money in cash. Most states in the west can finance their salaries and all. They don't need to borrow money for that.. Now, 70% of Lagos state debts are credit debt. The on-going deep sea port for example, it's a private investment + Lagos state government. The money Lagos state government is using was a borrowed money, but not in cash. It's a credit debt. The company financing it will receive it money with interest. So Lagos state would pay it debt easily once all their projects gets started to working.. We all read how Okowa was borrowing money prior to election but you'll hardly see any SW Governor borrowing money in such manner. No, they don't need to borrow money for elections & all. Just projects.. You should be concerned about your SE states that are owing salaries, no projects and yet still owing debts.. |
