Next on my watch list. Appletv+ hardly misses with thier original movies.

Apple TV+ is my go to now for original movies. HBO na king for TV shows.

Those people really took premium seriousness in being the HBO of streaming in this era.
I saw the trailer once, and I knew I'd definitely enjoy it. Me wey sleep wan finish yesterday afternoon, eye clear once. 😌😃

I wanted more and they had the tools to give more, and the action to drama ratio was so much on the drama side.

Okay, I didn't have much to complain about tho...I didn't even go in with high expectations but I can't say I wasn't satisfied.

Omo! I saw this first in my mentions and was setting up to watch it this weekend and then I read Oyaskii's review and now I'm really skeptic.
I'll line it up for weekend with a backup movie. If watching it still feels like stress after 30mins, I delete.

First 30 mins will actually pull you in grin

Movies I'm looking forward to:

Blue Beetle: Enjoyed the trailer, the soundtrack , looks good.

Hypnotic: Ben Affleck rarely misses, the storyline looks really good.

Extraction 2: Trailer looks too freaking good.

Kill Boksoon....8/10


Movie follows a professional killer who works for an organization of assassins. She toggles with her career and the struggles of raising a child. She struggles with Parenthood and getting her daughter to open up to her and also tries to protect her child from following her footsteps.

I won't say more to avoid spoilers... especially with the ending that is more complex than I expected.

But I saw some people on Twitter praising the way it portrayed the MC. She wasn't this unkillable assassin like what Hollywood constantly does... She's strong but even she knows her limits, when she knows she cannot win fairly, she employs tricks and ploys to get the better of her opponents.
In fact the movie clearly shows when she envisages how multiple scenerios play out to see if she stands a chance at winning 1v1

Presently watching Creed 3 and I have never heard of two boxers from the same promotion company and trainer fighting for an official championship... Is that even ethical?

Everyone knew it's very clear WBD never supported the movie and just left it to die. I'm not surprised, they've been doing from the start of the year with House Party, Magic Mike's Last Dance. All these got little to nonexistent promotion before premiering in cinemas. Zaslav modus operandi is to barely spend anything on projects he doesn't like and push focus on bigger potentials.

I'm very interested to see how Evil Dead Rise turn out.
With the way they've promoted Blue Beetle with fanfare and a really good trailer as well as fan hype, it's clear WB were more concerned on just dropping Shazam 2 out of their vaults ASAP and move on.
It's a tax write-off.

It's been a fire 🔥🔥week which since last week on entertainment world. From DC to MCU, Disney and HBO.

DC has had a raving week since the past 9 days.
From James Gunn directing Superman: Legacy, Clayface news, Joker 2 set photos, now to Superman having a casting director and Blue Beetle trailer.

I ain't even scared.... Blue Beetle will cook at the box office, especially with the large turnout it's going to receive from the Latino community and the Americas. Brazil is definitely contributing massively to this film with their cult like enthusiasm for CBMs.
