What the Igbos tolerated during the Lagos governors election, even Arewa people (Hausa and Fulanis) will not tolerate it. A serious fight would have broke out in the North and Yorubas sent packing immediately. I know Northerners cause I live with them.

But it's alright. We got the message. I know friends who swore never to invest their penny outside the shores of Igbo land. I never got to understand fully until after the just concluded presidential and governorship election in Lagos State.

I now fully understand that investing outside the shores of Igbo land as an Igbo man is putting your mental health and business in serious danger.

If you reading this as an Igbo man about to make a serious investment somewhere not your land Kindly have a rethink and come back to the South East. There are many places habitable for any kind of investment you want to venture into.

Forget about naysayers because businesses in the South East is more secured than anywhere in Nigeria. Home is home.

Infact, instead of making a huge investment outside the shores of Igbo, invest abroad. For you will find greater safety and peace there than any place not Igbo land in Nigeria. It's not me trying to preach hate but the obvious fact from multiple experiences.

They have asked us multiple times to leave their land for them and go develop our SAD EAST. Do as they have instructed. I have come to understand that once the drum of war or violence is been sounded over and over again be rest assured it occur someday. Russia and Ukraine is a perfect example.

KFC all over the country gets their chicken from shonga farms in Kwara state.
Chicken Republic all over the country gets their chicken from a farm in Ogun state.
Ask any market woman in your state that has a shop selling frozen chicken where she gets it from (emphasis 'frozen'). They will all tell you ogun state.

Building a Port shouldn't be a state initiative if you are actually savvy. The port should be privately driven by individuals with capacity. Your Government embarking on that is just Propaganda to make you feel that something tangible is amiss. Look at all the Airports in the Sadwasted zone, apart from Lagos None can compare to the least developed SE State.

You building and rebuilding after the war is the right thing to do because the war also set everyone back, not you alone.

If the Ports are being built , what is then the big deal, going by your logic about the reconstruction of the SE by the IGBOs without Government help? To build a Sea Port is actually a very good venture, but throwing Nations into the build to give it a robust Outlook and grandeur says alot about your myopic outlook towards developmental issues. The Seaport being built in Ondo will serve what purpose? It's just a means to actually siphon the large Bitumen stock and other natural resources that will be pillaged actively by the investors and their partners. What will make the port viable is the import portfolio..not even the exported goods, which are basically inconsequential, when you look at how Seaports that are built for profit operate. When the Seaports in the SE are fully functional then you will see the urban migration shifting and then you can have that shythole called Lagos to gloat over
