The economy is biting everyone, including the biggest and largest industries in Nigeria. If these companies decides to invest elsewhere, we will be in the biggest of mess, we will start drinking bitter leaf juice as tea.

Every company and individual must find ways to cut expenses and ride out this economic reform storm.

You either sink or swim! Harsh reality.

These times are not for the faint-hearted or wasteful spenders.

All their products are very expensive undecided imagine their bottle water ( the one with the green cap) is close to 3500 depending on where you are buying from. The ordinary one is 2900 whereas that same 2900 will get you 150cl eva water and you go still collect 400 naira change.

For those who don't know how to read and interpret FS, I am sorry that I can't help you.

The forex volatility is a temporary thing. Nestle will outlive it if it keeps minting money like it's still doing.
God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs!
What other interpretation is needed besides what is written in black and white in the document you pasted? The company cannot even pay dividends compared to the previous year and you are talking about paper loss. Just stop with the lies! It's annoying.

SAD for shareholders

This should pave way for local companies to emerge, at least they won't be sending funds to any home office
Equally sad for their workers

If multinationals with their talent and resources are collapsing, what do you think is happening to local businesses.
Please ask the Manufacturers association of Nigeria to know how well it is going for local businesses.

This economic problem is everywhere actually.

But Nigerians online love bad news about their country because it makes them feel better about last election so the media push it more to them.
Since goodluck Jonathan administration it's now you noticed Nigerians love bad news.. stop the gaslighting it's pointless. You will make same mistake again

Go deep down to why these companies/ Multinationals are making loss, you wouldn't go far from the fact that they have all benefiting from the cheap Dollars Sales by the former CBN Governor, Emiefiele!

Am not disputing what you have said but the point am making here is that nestle products are very expensive, so the company should know clearly that due to the way the economy is at the moment a lot of people will ditch their products for cheaper alternatives.how may people go ready buy nestle bottled water at 2900 when you can buy cway, aquafina cascade and Mr v for less.
