If you think there is hope for this country, you are obviously not being realistic. The political elites will only take care of themselves, their family and closed associates. Nigeria has no future. Just hustle hard and pray to God to send your destiny helper ur way so that you can take care of urself, ur family and help the needy to the best of ur ability. Chai, in this same country where people you promised to provide for their welfare, are currently hungry, suffering with no end in sight but you claimed to use #21billion to renovate and complete the vp residence? What about the vp current residence? Is something wrong with it? Will this new residence cure him of incompetence? Okay, it will suddenly transform him into a super performer that will take this country to the promise land, right? How a project funded with tax payers money becomes a private one sef? What are the crime of the poor people in this country? Why is nobody speaking up for God's sake? Today a mudu of beans is now #3k, a milk tin of garri is #200? Alot of folks are even jobless. How are we going to survive like this? Chai. |

In the midst of suffering and hunger, the elected officials still find ways to make a mockery of the ordinary people,it is things like this that sparks coup plots in the minds of uniformed personnels and also sparks revolution from the populace. Let us face fact, democracy have failed in this part of the world and Nigeria is a perfect example. I'm the beginning of our democracy, houses or places of residence where built for the president, vice president and also federal lawmakers, but today we are still hearing and reading of new houses being built for them,it is sad how we still find ways to waste scarce funds in building things that we already had before because the present occupier of the office doesn't seem the former residence good enough for him. |

This is the height of insensitivity. Spending N21B to renovate the VP's house at a time of severe starvation and austerity like this. The previous governments that did not see it out must have realized the optics would be bad and put it on old, but this govt deemed it okay, with their full chest, at a time Nigeria has hit rock bottom to commission it and begging labour to accept how much as minimum wage... This government is lucky not to have any competent opposition party. Youths, you better wake up and fight for your country, especially those of you that have no means of japaing. |

Its definitely a security risk. Some media we already know are anti-government...and they know who they are. I do think they should take one media rep, and show case certain areas or have the video pass through NSA so they can edit it for other media houses to use. dre11: |
