A well-known Islamic cleric and singer Ibraheem Abdulhameed popularly called Labaeka, has gone viral for quitting as Special Assistant on Artiste Matters to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State.

In his resignation letter of 12 September 2024 shared via Instagram, he expressed frustration with the role, citing lack of a job description and inability to perform his responsibilities.

According to him, due to the absence of a specific schedule or defined duties, he could not justify continuing to receive a salary without fulfilling any responsibilities.
