My brethren have refused to learn and relearn concerning illegal drugs business in SE Asia.
They keep forgetting that Indonesia has the harshest anti drugs laws on earth, and never spares any drug trafficker caught by her legal arm.
The punishment is execution by firing squad or lethal injection.
Indonesia has executed thousands of Nigerians caught in the drug business and still going, but my money conscious foolish brothers will never count their teeth with their tongues.
It's a mistake identity...

Happened last year.

That woman is a yoruba bigot that want to push agenda

Yorubas in prison death roll in abroad are much yet this godforsaken woman won't say anything

I won’t be surprised if he’s caught after 3months again
You will keep waiting. It was a wrong arrest and he was freed when the case was investigated and this was early last year
Why is Abike abi Abiku bringing it up this week to whitewash her ethno-bigotry?

Why are you folks never grateful for anything? At least you can read from the report that she was part of a delegation to Indonesia to plead on behalf of the convicts.
Some of you are just so blinded by hate so much that you can no longer think rationally.
Why didn't she initiate the process herself, as she did with the Canadian woman's case?

Nobody hates her; people simply detest double standards and hypocrisy.

She ignored the man, leaving him to languish in jail for a crime he didn't commit. If not for the US lawyer who took up the case, would she have ever considered reviewing his case?

You're just averse to people speaking the truth.

Them course this people with victim mentality?
Look at those two F00001$ above me saying a lot of Nigerians who get sentenced by death for carrying drugs is a case of mistaken identity that Abike they love to hate is the reason most of them are dead is sheer stupidity.

you guys know who runs the drug business, if Dora Akunyili was a Yoruba woman your people would’ve said she’s persecuting igbos when it’s evident you guys are running the drug game .
This country is best suited for a regional government no tribe likes to get punished by another ethnic group unless it’s within their tribe that’s when they can take it in good faith.
Are you done foaming in the mouth profusely?

Lucky him & Good job to the intervention team.

Mr. Ogebe, who had approached Dabiri-Erewa for her intervention, believed that Ihejirika’s case involved mistaken identity and offered his pro bono legal services. He pursued the case to Indonesia’s Supreme Court, ultimately securing Ihejirika’s release.
So nigga was innocent then. We thank God. Dabiri will use him to shine now like she is doing something for all Nigerians since he is now proclaimed innocent but before, he would be part of her bigotry statistics.
There is nothing here that should be seen as Dabiri's fault. She is not a lawyer. Luck only smiled on the guy. He is also innocent hence the story. Guy is very lucky to stay alive.

So this old ugly Wich wan claim glory for a case done pro Bono?

As in ehhh....

The ugly Wich fit dey vex say no be a Ronu for Saudi Arabia facing death by beheading they review the case.

Now, I won't be surprised if na willful ignorance on her own part allowed the innocent man suffer this much to the point of a legal practitioner doing the job a Govt Diasporan agency and their lawyers supposed do!

80% of deaths metted out to Nigerians are as a result of ignorance, derelict of duty or wilfully negligence.

Kudos to the lawyer. I like winners!
Incoherent Tribalist, did you not read that Mr. Ogebe, who had approached Dabiri-Erewa for her intervention, believed that Ihejirika’s case involved mistaken identity and offered his pro bono legal services?

He pursued the case to Indonesia’s Supreme Court, ultimately securing Ihejirika’s release.

She's trying to insert her dubious self into the middle of the whole story, just to extract as much praise as she can. The lady is unbelievable.
Just as you said, the lack of effective diplomatic representation has led to the imprisonment and deaths of many Nigerians abroad.

Many other countries would go the extra lenght to make sure that their citizens are not jailed wrongly and are educated about the dangers of illicit business, but over here, Abike and her couturier of petty minded colleagues are busy playing tribal politics with their jobs.

Grateful for what exactly?

Is Abike the lawyer that defended the man?

Moreover this case was resolved 9 months ago.

So the lawyer approached Abike because Abike is the jailer? Evidently he approached her coz she's been championing the case, Else the lawyer could have approached Indonesian govt. Or court directly.
Why you stoking unnecessary flame esp when there are still others on the intervention list of the same Abike as written in the article? Don't be simple!

Next time he hears "Drug", he will flee before "trafficking" completes it.

Narrow escape from a terrible death.

The Abike Dabiris want their own Oduduwa Republic but are waiting for exhaustion of crude oil and gas deposits in the Niger delta region.
They know that ethno-religious bigotry they champion has destroyed Nigeria.

Thanks to the lawyer, Mr Emmanuel Ogebe who pursued the case up to the Indonesian supreme Court on a pro bond basis. God bless him.

Most people that travel all the way to Indonesia and other Asian countries understand the death penalty for drug trafficking but went ahead to do it.
It's similar to most prostitutes that leave the country to sell their body and turn around asking for help when things turn sour .Sadly, that man might likely still go trafficking after his release as we have observed in alot of cases.

The monkey Abike Dabiri initially accused this innocent man of drugs before she was fact checked on Twitter.

She is so stupid that she does not even know her job

Good job by NIDCOM. Indonesia is very strict with their rules, and Malysia too.

I remember as far back as 2006 or thereabout, Abike Dabiri and Falana were trying to release some Nigerians caught in this saga. I think Abike was a Rep then.
