Also note, banks like Zenith pay dividends twice a year. This one (Interim Dividend) is like jara dividend which is usually smaller (they paid #1.25 per unit), while the final dividend, usually paid in May should be at least 4X of this figure (say #5 per unit).

That means if you bought 100k shares at about 7million, you’ll be earning #125,000 as dividend, this is still very small.

I'm free tonight, so let me just try to educate you better, since you're invested in this argument. A company's worth is based on its Market Cap, and from your own post (the image), you can see that Zenith Bank's Market Cap is #2.81 Trillion, which equates to $2 Billion.

Meanwhile, every company owns Assets and Liabilities. Zenith Bank might have Assets (value of what they own, which includes customers' deposits, loans given out, etc) valued at $16 Billion, but they also have Liabilities (value of what they owe others) at $14 Billion or more. So just only the Assets don't equate to the value of a company, cos you have to take out the Liability to get the true value (Equity value). You can read more on this to understand better.

But just to let you know, customers deposit is NOT an asset to a bank. Rather, it's a liability.
Loans are assets.

You Sabi wetin you dey talk, am also a shareholder in Zenith, it is the best banking sector shares you can get, though they don't give bonuse shares these days but off all the banking shares I bought years back non has performed as Zenith, in fact I lost everything in other banking sector only that Zenith that has helped me recoup.

Chief hold on to it, if you can get more, after the new recapitalization, that bank is heading to N200 post recapitalization. Looking at getting more, buy UCAP, also looking at banking stocks, look at Fidelity bank, Access and Jaiz bank and UBA, UBA is seriously undervalued, buy as much as you can of it now.

Looking at Insurance stocks, AIICO is a good one, pack as much as you can.

That is not how you look at it, check the capital appreciation, how much per share did you get it, what is the value now, the difference is your capital. The dividend is added bonus. Look at capital appreciation chief.

No, a 7 Million investment should give you over #500K as total dividend (if you add the two dividends: Interim and Final in a Financial Year). It can easily be more, like #600-700K too and the good part is that for the past decade, Zenith bank has maintained higher dividends each year, so your dividend payments is likely to increase with time.
