Some people want to be treated like gods because they helped their own friends.

I'd have said the same, except I'll word it as "thanks a lot for the referrals, much appreciated ❤️".

A ^simple^ ^text^ of 'Thanks for the referrals' is a woefully inadequate expression of gratitude,considering the massive positive impact on his friend's business, a sixfold revenue increase in just weeks!

Notwithstanding Champ's effort to connect people and the friend's initial complaint, a more meaningful gesture was warranted. The friends response implies egotism and a clear lack of reciprocity if you ask me. Significant help deserves significant appreciation,its common sense,it's that simple.

You are inventing another angle to defend your stance. The tweet was quite clear and straightforward. As others have said going by the information from the tweet the friend was ungrateful. There's no two ways about it.

I don't know anything about their circle of friends but the fact of the matter is someone did a good deed to his friend and the friend appreciated him by saying "thank you".

Na Una know when thank you no longer means show of appreciation.

Probably he has done that kind of favour to some others before and thats not the kind of appreciation he is used to getting.

In all this, one thing is clear, the person wey dey expect the bountiful thanks no really see the other person as peer, or close friend, and to be on the safe side na to dey talk "thank you" with plenty orishirishi.
