My own suggestions are just 3.

1. The security operatives should go after those who are sponsoring the criminals killing, abducting and attacking people, doing that will cut off the supplies of their boys in the bush. When they are running out of stock, the security operatives can then go after them.

2. The gun runners. Without their guns, things wouldn't have escalated like this. Government should fully go after those who are bringing guns and ammunition into the country

3. The logistics making delivery. The criminals in the bush are always supplied with guns and ammunition, foods and other things that can sustain them in the bush. There are some companies solely doing that business even though they knew their delivery are being made to the terrorists. They should all be arrested as they are facilitators

What are your suggestions?

Get a workable law that is no longer friendly to bandit.
1.Self defense against any one trying to attack you is not a crime. You should be rewarded for killing any one who wants to kill you.( Once its proven beyond doubts)
2. Any one caught kidnapping or doing banditry should be killed in less than one month after accelerated court process.
3 No option of jail term or fine
4. The execution should be done in his father's compound and community (no father will won't that shame, so they will stop their children from disgracing them.
5.Any property used in kidnaping should be demolished
6. Same number 4 and 5 treatment to any one with proven records terrorism financing

I think the government is already doing a lot in this regard. More intelligence gathering and collaboration with local communities can also help. If we can get to the sponsors, it will go a long way.

There is no insecurity in Nigeria. There is a multi-billion dollar business using terror as cover for defence funds to be looted.

Wahhabism is a intolerant, puritanical, militant interpretation of Islam that calls for the wholesale destruction of the West/moderate Islam in a jihad of global proportions.

In the short term, we can go after the sponsors and logistics. But in the long term, we need to look at the root causes of all these.

Isn't it the POLICE who are responsible for bringing people to justice in developed countries?

The financier, the money launderer and the foot soldiers are different sets of criminals.
Find the individuals, and bring them to justice.
