The complainers should pay the money to FG. ₦5,000 is too small, ₦ 6,000 is too small. Are you all working for government? Taxes are deducted from salaries that mostly not determined by government but employers.

cheesy cheesy

The data boys of the fake certificate holder saw the marginal increase in lies as the greatest achievement of the roasted electricity fraud.

The incompetent mandate snatcher have already taken the advice of the terrorist sheik Gumi to go to Turkey and sign a Deal for security and defence. Gumi warned him to ignore the West and seek for security assistance from fellow creatures that hate Christians

Can you please explain HOW a reduction in the tax money from PAYE that is for states translates to MORE money for the 36 governors huh
There is a net increase in total tax payments because the tax system is progressive. Higher earners will pay more, while lower earners will see a reduction in their tax payments.

Employers you mean, are you saying it was wrong to deduct such a high amount, 15% ?
Thanks for the correction. Yes, I mean employers.
If your bonus is 600k, I think the average tax rate should be around 15% or so.

The greatest fraud of the century, they already have your bvn, you will still declare your total income at the end of the year, and then pay the differential.
Imagine abolishing 10% payee tax on basic salary and being replaced with 15, 25, 35% tax on gross income and yet some people trying to convince us that it is a better bargain.

So what is this thread about people getting more net pay?

Are most of us extreme poverty paupers, due to APC palliative sharing progreThief policies in the last decade?

Should we vote Obi or Atiku so we can experience real and undiluted and unrescinding hardship?
How do you know, have you tried them before, this is one of the causes of failure, when you keep repeating the same mistake because you are afraid or too tribalist to try something new

Why should you hide some of your income? That's fraud. What you need is tax planning. In nations that we want to be like them it sends one to jail.
the answer to the above question is that I hide it from thieves. The nations that practice same system offer free medical care to their citizens, unemployment claims, security and many more. Here we provide our own security, water, light and pay our own hospital bills and those on NHIS receive second hand treatment

Then you lack locus to complain. You are not an investor.

If bank charges, USSD fees, transport and food prices keep rising, a small PAYE cut doesn’t change much for households
Re: Tax Reforms: Workers Unimpressed With Marginal Salary Rise by CosmoGlitch(m): 9:36am On Jan 29
Tax cuts without tackling inflation are cosmetic. What’s the point of saving N4k on PAYE when prices keep jumping every month?

Yes,Obi was a failure in Anambra.
He shut down Anambra hospitals for 13 months and also the schools in Anambra for 13 months.Only God knows the number of lives that were lost and the number of students that were unable to go back to school again during his regime and beyond. It was very pathetic.
So also is Atiku.

If it's an annual bonus, then it should be based on the amount.
