richmond500:And what is the minimum wage? A mere 48 dollars. So someone who earns 48 dollars per month should spend 100 dollars per month? |

DrMB:As you post cost of living also post average wage and GDP per capita of each country When you do the above side by side what you have there, then you have done some educational work that's worth studying and useful. |

DrMB:On what basis is this statistics being arranged? It is by number of celebrities visiting those places, politicians having properties in those places or is it by the basic minimum wage in those places? |

bazoodo:Some of you are so warped in thinking that you think everyone is a fool on the internet. You just come online to spread propaganda, thinking everyone would believe your cheap propaganda. I'm very sure you've never ever dreamt of owning that same 10k USD that you said was nothing in Singapore. Someone who has never left the shores of Nigeria will sit in his house in Ogbomosho and tell you what happens in Singapore. Looking at your profile, I'm not surprised. You're one of those data boys with fairly used laptop from Rotimi Amaechi, who come online to defend a failed government. |

Misleading! You should have added the average minimum wage of those countries listed |
| Re: Countries with Highest Cost of Living by MakindeHassan: 12:28pm On May 10 |
bazoodo:I initially didn’t want to respond to you cos what are you even saying. I simply said post the data of wages to give a more transparent view of cost of living. For example average wage in Switzerland is around $8,800 per month and US is around $6,000 per month. On the list, Switzerland is more expensive than US. This shows you that countries that are more expensive often earn more relatively. You think it’s $70 per month minimum wage Singaporeans are using to live their life. Do your research on how many USD millionaires are in Singapore. High cost of living is often related to higher wages. Countries at the top of the list ofter earn way more than those at the bottom on average. |

If Reno sees this list now, he will grow morale to compose another epistle to explain how Nigeria is not among the most expensive places to live on earth. |

MakindeHassan:there are about 50 USD billionaires in Singapore. Most of them just use Singapore as their country on firms but reside elsewhere! Even if they lived there does that justify the high cost of living. Singapore is freaking expensive. Except you earning above 500k USD a year you still struggle there. Every now and then their government doles out intervention cash to citizens to meet up. A typical two bedroom for rent a month costs about 4k Singapore dollars. Meanwhile average income is also around that amount |

DickenClarq:Nothing sensational about the cost of living in Europe since your earnings will always more than cover your cost of living. As for Lagos, i don`t see any reason to avoid it, there are many decent affordable locations there and the relatively high safety and security level is a big plus. |

All these fake analysis to deceive Nigerians. Who told you life is not expensive in Nigeria than those countries you mentioned. Nigeria is one of the most expensive countries to live based on people earning. Here's my own story, I left the street of Lagos Nigeria before Tinubulation because salary math was no longer mathing. As at then we were earning around 300 and 350k per month as a family, but by the time we paid 3 children school fees and took out rent to get desirable good food would be a struggle. Now in the US, only one of us is working full time because one of us have to take care of the kids and school run. Yet life is easier, we own our house and we're even paying extra above our mortgage so we can clear it quick, because I know many people are coming to shout mortgage. Here now we're driving 2 recent cars without loan because we are the type that like to go for whatever we can afford without loan. Meanwhile, back in Nigeria, the only one car we had will be packed for days sometimes because even driving the car self was another stress on its own. A beg choose the life you want for yourself and let people make their choice. |

bazoodo:You're right $10K salary in SG is hard to come by, unless the earner is a true professional at the job, normal salaries start around $3,950, $4,345 USD and $5,135 USD which if you manage well, can live on quietly, that humid heat of theirs tho....🚶🚶 |
