First can u speak Spanish!? Mexico is pretty cool I actually love going to Mexico usually Chetumal , cancun ,playa del Carmen etc.. I only go there to visit tho so i can't tell u about greener pastures there or anything but it a beautiful country.. And the people are really nice.. But the language barrier is the problem cuz it really hard to communicate if u cnt speak the language..

Anyways, weigh your options properly. The only thing I see Nigerians do in Mexico is teach english for about 60 - 70 pesos (6 USD).

If you want to mingle with Nigerians, consider moving to Cuernavaca or D.F. It's affordable and ITESM is a great school too (recognized in the US). A friend of mine went to school there and she currently works at the Mexican Embassy in Abuja. Good school!

my guy let me telll u the truth about traveling,if u have no skills and u go to canada or uk u willl suffer and waste away.the problem with nigerians is that we are not employable or should i say skilled,from what u have written i think u are a graduate but tell me is there anyother hand work or skill that u know?in todays world it is not about speaking english or carrying certificates all over the world it is all about what u can do with ur hands and produce something productive once u gather this even if u go to cotonu u wil make it.the nigeria u want to runaway from is the same nigeria people are running back to from all these western nations and making it there.

Mexico! I love the name Mexico. Estados Unitados de Mexicano. Mexico, a country where they so much believe that US is the only place where they can go and make it. A country where people are hustling to run out of which is where an african(nigerian) wants to run to. Been in mexico, its best you go there and teach english,if I can still remember back then when doing my search, I was to be paid 400 dollars monthly but if I am to do 2 hours lecture , I could get 800 dollars. Do your search well but then you need TESOL certificate to teach english since they don't accept someone who speaks and write english only(the days have passed). if you find yourself in mexico, stay away from the northern part of mexico. You can go to mexico city, df, pennisular regions like yucatan ,cancun for safety reason. Why spend about 300k (I am guessing) on ticket to mexico when if you really sit down well to think, you can use that money to go to europe or invest in nigeria. Seriously, I would be glad if you tell me the ticket price cause I know its costly. 300k ticket to a 3rd world country like mexico? Is it not better I go to libya and hustle. My advice, re-think . The ticket price is not worth it or except you want to use mexico as a means to migrate to the US through the desert?

Good thing you changed your mind. Mexico ain't really all that. The Nigerians I've met over there are either schooling or looking for a way to migrate to the US (it's harder to get a US visa in Mexico than in Nigeria). I went to language school over there so I didn't need a job. The only way to settle in is to marry a Mexican, what's the point? I'd rather marry an American / British guy than sit in Mexico with a Mexican black passaporte . Invest the money in Nigeria or migrate to Europe or Canada if you find better opportunities there. For future purposes, if you're going to migrate to any country to hustle or for non-academic purposes, get skilled before travelling. Mechanic, tailor, carpenter, cell phone repair, ...whatever or you'll be useless. Good luck!

i made the same mistake but by the special grace of God i was able to retrace my steps ,you need a travel experience no doubt , if u have 300k , u can use 50k to just move round west africa or go to ghana , meet people , see Nigerians , this will give u the needed exposure and when u gt back u will begin to see Nigeria in a different perspective ,the honest truth about traveling is

i live in one of the west african countries and i see how our Nigerians brothers who have no skill are rotting away while at the same time i see everyday how nigerians with skill and mney are making it big time,some will nevere even talk about America .take a vacation to another west African country , explore make friends , discuss with people exchange ideas , make friends , outside naija it is a different ball game entirely , believe me by the time you go back u will feel refreshed .we are all after moey and success and i can beat my chest and tell u this if u want constant power , water and so on then outside naija is it BUT IF YOU WANT MONEY NAIJA IS WHERE THE MONEY DEY,you have 700k that is almost 5000 dollars believe me most boys in malaysia and south africa are looking for 100k to go back to naija ,i swear .read through ppl experiences on nairaland here .but if u can get legal papers that will make u a legal resident in those countries and which will give you the freedom to expand your horizon and exploit the opportunities in those place that is ok.
thousands of nigerians cant come back becos of shame ,they have nothing to show for their years of stay in usa or uk and all their mates in nigeria are already doing well
