anyway, I had a neighbour in School that was dating his friend's sister and his friend knew about it. He even calls her his fiancee.

Two of my close friends married my sisters. Both of them told me they admire my sisters before they even started hooking up with my sisters (I knew because I was very protective of sisters and monitored what happened around them).

I knew they liked my sisters before they opened up to me. I encouraged them to go ahead if their hearts are truly in. I don't have idiots as friends. I've and maintain very good friends I would like to have as brother-in-laws. What's better than seeing your sister in friendship with a man you know very well and who also happen to be your close friend? And they ended up marrying my sisters.

OP, you're a terrible "friend". In fact, you're very unworthy to be called a friend to anyone. You should go away and bury your head in the sand in shame!

Carsonv: The fact you're keeping it secret makes your intention look more suspicious. Truth is, guys don't like their friends dating their sister because only one out of the numerous relationships we(guys) startup end in marriage. The rest is statistics and they don't want their sister to be the statistics that you(the friend) constantly remind them of whenever they see you. Guys love their women finally!

So do the needful. Talk to the guy about it.
But seriously, if you don't have intentions to take the relationship to marriage, just quit it. Cos when the relationship ends, it'll screw up all other relationships that exist between both families(both the office relationship between her dad and your mum, your friendship with the brother, the little likeness the sisters and mum have for you). Infact you'll screw everything up with the little act of indiscretion.

Do some soul-searching. Cos I deduce from your post that it seems the girl kind of initiated the relationship by first showing love and leaving you in a 'helpless' situation. Some girls are like that, they don't know the enormity of a relationship with their brother's friend.

The best friend of my friend married his only sister.

They dated for years without their knowledge, until the

FYI, We are now married

We ve gone Far (Me&her). I'm 2+yrs Older than her. She really loves me & I am very sure about that. She told her mum and Sister about me, but they kept it from the Men in the house (her dad & brother). Her dad is my mum's boss at work, I am usually scared of him but he likes me.
I and the girl could be in the sitting room in his presence & be chatting via fb or whatsapp.
When our other friend talks about my sister, I usually "kick" with a frown or I will just "blast" him; I hope I'm not selfish I doubt if I can allow a friend of mine date my sister but this relationship came suddenly and unexpected (Or is love planned?), I can't explain it. She once told me that her brother wouldn't like it if he knows.

What's your take? Is this awkward? Have you experienced this before?
