Banks dont release infos about their clients.The first thing your friend needs to do is to go to the high court in his state and apply for letter administration,since it looks as if the man didnt leave a will behind.When the letter has been granted to whomever it is given amongst the children,they will take it to the bank,the bank will supply them with the necessary infos they need.

They can request for his last 3 months bank statement. The print out. With that, they can trace the money in and out flow.

Sup investors?? i might sound clueless but the truth is, i am clueless on issues about banks etc. My friend's dad died a few weeks ago and he (my friend )strongly believes his dad died a millionaire. He just received his pension and the money wasn't spent. problem is, the account details the man left behind before demise show N0.00. My question is, is there a way banks databases could be scanned to ascertain what name the man emptied his life earnings into and how to empty it's contents to his family to at least settle off his numerous debtors
