After going through the site and filling the optin form, I can reasonably conclude that the site is fake.

WHY?
You should fill a form to ascertain your eligibility or not
The email autoresponder uses a generic email 'exxonscholarship@GMAIL.com'
Going through the message that was sent after verifying email it does not look corporate includes spelling mistakes.

Why include a phone number other than to make people call them, wheras everything should be online-based.

These are my opinions,if they are unfounded please clarify.
