895 Million voters use this Electronic Voting Machine in India.

Is there any reason why INEC can't adopt this Electronic Voting machine ?

Do you think it can enhance election credibilty and curb rigging?

So many reasons, but let me highlight 3 major reasons
1. The electronic voting machine won-t function properly or at all when it gets to NIGERIA simply because jega and his team will prefer tokunbo to brand new one just because of his pocket. (A case study of voters registration)
2. Mr jega and co wont employ expert to operate the machine instead quacks will be employed via political 4g connection.
3. Some urban areas wont get the machine in time/ at all.

Hijackers may hijack the machine and conduct voting exercise in their homes. This will open the floodgate for multiple voting

Will the voting data not have people's finger prints in order to record?

I am not familiar with the technology but I will be suprised if the database does not capture people's finger print.

I don't think operating the machine is rocket science

We are talking about a whole generation of Nigerians who use touch screen laptops and mobile phones.

It's not that hard.

If you doubt that aspect, do you concur with the other two point?

Technology will work anywhere just that the environment may not allow it. Nigeria will one day work for the benefit of the people.....

The voting machine is a nice achievement but in Nigeria there'll be a number of problems which includes

1) the realibility of the device, if it breaks down while election is going on what happens
2) we still have inadequate infrastructure to support it
3) we need adequate number of experts for maintenance and in case of possible urgent break up (who will b on standby as election issue can't be postponed)
Nonetheless, if properly implemented, it will go a long way in curbing our electoral shortcomings, challenges and sabotage

We'll surely get there one day. One step at a time. May God bless Nigeria.

Will GEJ and his PDP goons allow that in Nigeria? I can ask that much Becouse it's the duty of the government in power to move us from the old way to the new way and as it stands it GEJ who is president and not Buhari.
