Don't give me that story Prof Jega. These cards (whether with chip, RFID or magnetic stripe) can be hacked and the on the reader software + hardware tricked to read those cards. Even ATM machines here in malaysia were hacked with fabricated cards by experts from south america and there pictures are everywhere now around malaysia cos they scored big in one shot. Just pray the riggers don't employ the right black hats to do the damage cos the way i am seeing things, nigeria ain't matured yet to put everything online. I'd suppose n suggest they still keep written records to ensure both manual and electronic databases of voters really tally. Else, rigging spree for sure..... just my 2cents

Why are we so dumb in this country? So because JEGA said PVCs cannot be cloned, you lot believed him and started spewing dust because it is expedient for your campaign.

I keep saying it, this JEGA man has been seriously compromised.

The White House, CIA and FBI would always say their websites/archives cannot be hacked but we all know they've been hacked.

So if hackers can get into the websites/archives above, you should know PVC cloning/hacking into INEC's database would be very easy.

DSS said APC wants to hack into INEC's database, JEGA said he wasn't the one that reported to the DSS. Was he trying to tell his paymasters he was not the one that leaked their evil plan?

JEGA also said he's not aware of any plans to hack into INEC's database, is he an intelligence officer or INEC's chairman?

JEGA needs to be monitored closely, he's been heavily compromised.

There has been a good electoral reform under Jonathan.

We now have a permanent voter register with biometric information embedded, this is quite good.

However, the system can still be compromised in the following way.
1. registration of unqualified people like children and foreigners. CPC used alot of children voters in 2011, APC might want to repeat it this year.
foreigners have always voted in the north, I doubt if that will change this year

2. Hacking of the voters register and duplication of the voters register. It is very naive of the INEC chairman to state that the voters card will be useless if duplicated. even as secured as bank debits cards are, people still duplicate them and use them successfully. Anyone who hacks into the INEC database will be able to get enough data on voters to duplicate genuine voters cards. they can even swap their own list of ficticious registered voters with the names of geniune voters in the database and disenfrancise the real voters on the election day. It will be very unwise for INEC to underestimate the potential threat from hacking of the database.

3. no voting has ever achieved 100% turnout, the unused ballots can still be allocated to a candidate, thereby changing the choice of the voters.

But the electoral infrastructure we have today is best in the history of the country and great thanks to Jonathan for it.

buhari may not be as educated like your man, neither are saying he is perfect but we are counting on one thing you Gej does not ve and will never ve integrity, self control, ability to take hard decision, Gej does not ve this basic quality since we view him as someone who does not keep his words and i doubt if you can keep your salary in the same room with Gej as you can't trust him, even a Buhari on wheel chair will get our votes
