Look, I'm a Ghanaian and have been watching the heartbreaking sights of mutilated and dismembered bodies of Nigerians especially the little girls who are daily blown apart by Boko Haram.

As a leader of a country, his first priority is to ensure the security of Nigerians to go about their daily activities in their country without any trepidation, especially when the country is not at war and not facing any superior external forces.

This, Mr G. Jonathan has failed the Nigerians miserably.

He has not lived up to this task in any way and must not be given any second opportunity.

No one is saying Nigeria should completely defeat BH, but for a country with such a huge financial and military resources, it beats me why Nigeria can't come up with a plan or strategy to handle Boko Haram. Is it incompetence or cluelessness?

This ragtag group of miscreants has been given the free reign of dictating the scope and pace of their diabolical and heartless activities.

Nigerians should make the threat of BH a huge election issue and look for a better leader who is capable of handling this problem.

Nigeria deserves better.

Do you know we have many Nigerians crossing over to Ghana everyday?

Do you even know the influx of Nigerians to Ghana has increased dramatically with the pending elections?

He should be changed. What is happening in Nigeria is no longer a Only Nigeria matter.

Follow what is happening in West Africa and you'll get my drift.

OP thank you very much. Patriotic Nigerians are also concerned about the state of the nation. Our President has failed in his primary responsibility of protecting the lives and properties of Nigerians and safe-guarding our territorial integrity. In a decent country, his own party will tell him to resign and will stop him from running for another term in office. If He can't contain BH for almost 5 years in office, it doesn't need a prophet to tell one that he won't contain BH even if given another 500 years. Let me inform you that Nigerians are resolute in our decision to return Muhammadu Buhari to power. I am sure you guys are familiar with the name because one of your hero take him to be his mentor.

This is how our international image has crumpled under Jonathan but some TANistas refuse to acknowledge it. Jonathan carries dubious citizens to go beg Cameroon for support, when at a time Abuja was the center of West African affairs. Yesterday it was a Kenyan cartoonist mocking the president, while he was busy begging obasanjo to keep quiet, who knows what further insult tomorrow will bring. Nigeria is greater than Jonathan, and will survive his idiocy. Be assured most Nigerians know that Jonathan is serving out his final months.

Why not get your facts put before opening a thread here. We have only two candidates running, Jonathan and a known boko haram supporter. When you tell us not to vote Jonathan, you are indirectly suggesting we elect a boko haram supporter.

Thanks

What prevented you from geting a better candidate or is it about the continuation of corruption?

OP, A set of us don't want people to speak the truth as long as it makes their candidate look bad.

The reasons they haven't stopped BH includes but not limited to incompetence, high level of corruption and just plain insensitivity. Instead of them to fight them and address thus menace they'll rather blame the opposition because they know they won't have a sensible answer if they're really probed.

They cause all these distractions by blaming it on tribe, party affiliation, hatred of the president, etc. Unfortunately some citizens take their excuses and gobble them up, some ignorantly while others are being served crumbs to peddle these silly excuses. In the meantime their guys keep amassing insane amount of wealth

Not all Igbo and Niger Deltans support GEJ. If the election ends up being free and fair, you would be surprise that GEJ wont win most SS and SE states with a huge margin. I am from Delta and I can tell you most people here are disappointed with GEJ and many wont vote for him because the voting turn out will be very low.

Your man is not competent, admit it. An American has also asked me if the President who could not find the missing Chibok girls was going to be on the ballot. I will reply him only after the elections. Most countries have very STRINGENT standards for whoever is going to affect the destiny of millions of their people for 4 years, in Nigeria suffer head has weakened peoples IQ and vision. That is why the same president would be asking why a trusted public official who stole just some little money should be punished so much and his party has not asked him to withdraw.
