It is so baffling that the poor can no longer dream of owning a house in Nigeria. Why is the cost of cement beyond ordinary Nigerians? This is really hard for many of us. I am about doing my decking in Benin City next week, but the price of cement is worrisome, about 2000-2100 naira per bag. Our Artisans are all complaining because builders are no longer working on their projects due to high cost of building materials. And GEJ want us to continue like this for another 4 years.

Amen Oooo. Pls, if the place you but your cements for 1850 is in Benin, you could help me with your seller's number, so I can contact them. I will need a minimum of 200 bags for my decking by month end. I really hope and pray for a drastic price reduction in few days time.. It is not easy to buy cements above 1500naira. In Ghana, Cameroun, Cotonou and other neighbouring countries, you need just less than 1000 naira for a bag of cement. Why is ours different in Nigeria?

i bought it in mowe Ogun state. The reason why prices rises indiacrminately is that there is no regulations.
