Hacking these online polls is very, very easy, even passwords get hacked, in fact, Google in their adsense program always deal with something called robot clickers, which at the initial time made the to loose a lot of money, later they investigated the matter and found out that many clicks came from the same IP addresses, then they modified their system of operations and initially stopped that fraud, later the same set of people modified theirs also and actually masked their IP address with a software program, then it started again, in fact google had to go into a lot of troubles to stop this particular attack, now it is no longer easy to steal using adsense but not impossible, so google are always on their toes and keeping an eye over that program, of course it their line of business so they have the technology and time and ability to contend with hackers, which AIT and even Nairaland does not. For example, I remember on thread which a comment supporting Buhari had about 700 likes, I don't know how it happend, but anyone with a basic knowledge of HTML and a few software programs can do such things easily. The highest likes anyone can get Is between 300 and say 350, Mind you I have been on Nairaland since 2006 so I know this forum like the back of my hand, feel free to comment but any body that tries to abuse me will not see February 1.

MR.., you claimed to be Mr. Know all of nairaland but kept your bottom widely open. Nairaland is not a stagnant site like Jonathan's retrogressive performances. Common sense should dictate that number of likes in 2006 should be different from number of likes in 2015.

Mathematically, not everyone clicks that like button, because except you are using a computer or tablet or a smartphone AND a fast 3G network the site will have to be reloaded which a lot of people don't like

You should have mentioned you use a 'JAVA' phone. . .and you claim to be a Nairaland Member since 2006? Lol grin Ignorance is your new best friend!

And I thought I was going to read one detailed rejoinder... Smh.

Op, so your problem is now the number of "likes" pro Buhari's comments get. I once made a none partisan comment praising Nigeria and got well over 600likes. Was that manipulated too??

Mscheew. What am I even doing here..

No problem, but it will be decidec at the polls not on the internet, which explains exactly why APC wins EVERY online poll but looses woefully ofline, will you say it has not become a recurring decimal? Mind you IMAGINE have been on this forum since 2006.

Dont mind him. This is one of the dumbest threads I have ever seen on Nairaland. Even Seun himself had made comments that have attracted up to 900 likes and he is here talking about 300 to 350 likes.

No, no, no, I don't think ITS have to google his name, because IF also know what IS am saying, in fact he has to google my name, not vice versa, he is making it to seem impossible while it is very easy.

I personally knew Gbenga Sesan from his days as a student in OAU, Ile-Ife and from there he went on to become a household name in the area of Info-Tech.

He has worked with the United Nations, the Nigerian Government and several Multinational companies over the years. A simple Google search will reveal his biography and acheivements.

The question is: Who are you?

The answer is: You are a nobody compared to Gbenga Sesan as far as IT is concerned.

Please prove me wrong with facts.

Thank you.

Op you've got an IQ less than that of a dumb duck...

I've made a comment that has over 400 like already between the very early hours of today an now. Your submission is very dumb, empty and baseless. You know nothing about the subject you delved into and ended up exposing yourself as a dumbass fool.

Critical

bros that is what you think do you know how many car forums I have joined? BTW if you know how many ebooks I have downloaded aboutvthe best prctices around the world and the tools in my arsrnal you will not say the above thing and it is still not enough and I don't touch old cars. The cars I work on must have OBDII on it that is I only work on cars with electronic control system, that coil you are you mentioned, i have never worked on it even for one day so the job i do requires CRITICAL thinking all these is becauseI support GEJ. I will never support Buhari, never and mind you I have been able to convince a lot of undecided voters to vote for CONTINUITY . I will vote for GEJ because of the following three points : The automotive policy (thus excites me most) implementation of CONFAB report and and agricultural policy. these things affects every Nigerian in this country and beyond not just my tribe

HTML is a mark up language not a programming language. it is the languagethat is used to tell your computer web browser how it should display the page. CSS or cascading Style Sheet is the code used for styling the page while Javascript is the actual programming language used in web programming for example when filling an online form and you miss a compulsory bar the Javascript code will instruct the computer to demand for that line to be filled
This is just a simple way of describing the terms being a web designer is a very good thing go and acquirer the skill your only regret will be nit taking it up earlier but it is not easy at first, just like anyother thing in life

Ah ah, I saw it in Anambara state, in fact as Obianor supporter I grew afraid that ngige will win judging from what I saw on this forum but IT was pleasantly supprised when we won, so Buhari winning is like a whale passing through a needle's eye
yea d power of rigging.. moreover dis a general election.. not a state election.. don't get it twisted.

When I posted the opening post I never expected any Anti Progress Crowd member to jump up and tell member to jump up and tell me ohh yes you are right! yes you are right! I am not child but my opinion still remains that that kind of poll is easily hijacked and bastardized by just anyone with a few software program and a basuc HTML and of course a cheap computer even secure servers like PSn and Xbox live do get haced from time to time. that of sony was done by north Koreans in a hotel in China but the IP address they used will only set you up for a wild goose chase.
Buhari will win any election in Nigeria at all . For all those that abused me read the last parts of the first post whether you read it or not it will happen to you

Re: My Take On Gbenga Sesan by Gbawe2: 12:13pm On Jan 30, 2015
We dey laff *in OBJ voice*. So many people focusing on what does not matter at all. What Tunde Bakare said is the 'coco' of the matter i.e major Nigerian voting blocs are behind Buhari. All this one we are doing online is a waste of time in regards to a predetermined outcome. It is crystal clear to many that GEJ will make Nigeria a totally failed State if not removed.

Those who fear Buhari and have worked against him in the past are today far more worried about the damage GEJ is doing. Is it a coincidence that many of Buhari's so-called victims have come out to say they forgive him and are behind him today? The families come out daily to warn the PDP to stop using the name of their relatives in the propaganda and character assassination against Buhari. What does this show us? When the son of a man executed during the Buhari regime now supports Buhari, what does this tell us about how badly GEJ has ruined Nigeria?

Many of Buhari's enemies are now behind him today because they realise one major thing. Nigeria will become a totally failed State like Afghanistan and Somalia under GEJ. Under that scenario, we are all losers. Obama who should be neutral broke diplomatic decorum to deliberately influence the Nigerian polls by saying Jonathan runs an "ineffective government" thus implying Nigerians should vote him out. The fans of GEJ do not realise how bad the entire world wants GEJ gone. So, Nairalanders please feel free to discuss colon cancer, IP Addresses, certificates, Zahra and such. Movers and shakers with clout have other things to focus and work on.

You can't hack with html, simple. It's like confronting boko haram with catapults.

The energy and time you wasted on this thread is more than enough to know basic html, it's so easy that you can learn in an hour.

Don't care if the poll was hacked or not, I believe they won't take it down if the results favor jonathan... But mentioning html as one tool the hackers use is laughable bro.
