Yeah...You're indeed right. Everything boils down to illiteracy and poverty though religion is also a contributing factor, there are also destitutes in places like Brazil, south Africa, Philippines and the rest, but you hardly hear of cases of violence against the minority Muslim population.

It is good that you are not violent, but you can not continue to pretend that you do not know what your fellows are doing up north. I personally do not hate hausa/fulanis, have never insulted a Northerner and I do not think I ever will (I have even had to quarrel with a relative of mine for abusing an Hausa man that lives close to my house) but I will not deny what you guys are doing to southerners up north. You too should pull your head out of the sand and be truthful to yourselves. Nobody is forcing you to change your personality or ethnicity, the way to move forward is not by screaming solidarity slogans, rather call your likes together and go out there to educate and enlighten others on the need to be less violent and be more conversative.

the problem is the way you people are generalising us as violent people whereas pre dominance of us aint like that. You've never been to north that's why you are saying so. Am living in kaduna but I assured you the violent ones are not up to 10percent of kaduna occupants and they are not left just like that to do whatever they like cox their is a special vigilante group establish just to eradicate and tackle such people and you can't say there are not bad people in the south. Is it not a matter of religion or region but rather a matter of personality. There are bad people everywhere and their are good ones be it in Islam,christianity,igbo,hausa,yoruba.
