Hi guys, please i have this thing bordering me about dis usb otg of a thing. Guys, the android devices that currently support otg, is it a hardware component or a root (i mean system) programm that enables them support otg?

for starters , the tecno phantom n9 pad supports it. i think it is supported by high end devices running jb 4.2 upwards.

My friends worship my phone because of my OTG cable..Just imagine plugging wireless mouse,keyboard and hard drive at the same time while I connect the phone to TV...I use an s3 though.

Techno f7 has hardware that supports USB otg, but the phone's settings have otg disabled. To enable USB otg on the phone first root it. Then download an app called 'Usb host check' from playstore. The app can perform a simple fix that enables otg support on the f7. It worked for me.

Tried it on gp2 and it worked, I don't have USB OTG cable to test if it really works

seems m3 is supported, ionno of others, bur mine is otg supported, bt still goin to dump it for gp2 sha

USB On The Go(OTG),is mainly a hardware supported feature,in some cases could be software,if your phone does not support an OTG cable based on a software issue,that could be rectified,but if it's a hardware issue,i don't think that could be rectified
