Arsene Wenger’s boys would be seeking to reach the quarter-final of the UEFA Champions League for the first time in five years. The club standing in their way is Monaco, it would be a very difficult battle for the Gunners as Les Monegasques would provide a stern challenge over the two-legged tie.

The Gunners boss confronts an injury-hit Monaco on Wednesday for the first time since leaving the club and he admitted that he was taken by surprise when the draws was made
"To be honest it was a surprise, because I always expect the most prestigious team to come out against us - that has happened the last five or six years," he told Uefa's official website.

"It's also one of those strange coincidences in life, because between them these two clubs account for 25 years of my life. That's very unusual, to meet in the Champions League. It was a little bit of an emotional shock."
Abou Diaby, Matheu Debuchy, Aaron Ramsey and Mikel Arteta are all out of this feature with a long-term injury issues, Oxlade-Chamberlaine is unlikely to be rushed back from his ailment. David ospina is also suffering from a slight back problem giving way for Szczesny to start in goal.
