For the past few weeks, everyone must have noticed the craziness in romance section.
We see people post different topics of different nature. Some ludicrous, some meaningless.
Some people have seen this as something that needs to be stopped.

But if you have been observant, you would notice that in the mix of this, nairaland has gotten more members.
Its normal for people to be attracted to fun and romance section has provided it

So guys, what are your thoughts

hmm. if it is about generating more traffic, then the management of Nairaland should kuku throw caution to the wind and uncensor all those words and also sack all the mods!! . if that's done, NL would turn into a mad house within a few days.

How ever, if the emphasis is on quality, service rendered, a forum meant to serve as an example to others, then NL needs to work more in order to stop all those E-fights, scams, trolls, fake people, multiple monikers and the rest. so NL management needs to work more and stop focusing on mere membership increase while the quality reduces.
