A serving Senator of the federal republic of Nigeria, representing Ikot Ekpene senatorial district, Akwa Ibom state, Senator Aloysius Etuk was recently awarded in Uyo. This being the first, the two terms senator has gotten since he assumed office in 2007. The award was presented to him at the Samsung plaza Uyo, Akwa Ibom for being their customer of the week.

It could be recalled that the senator who's reelection was believed by many to have been rigged was edged out of the PDP Senate primaries last year by Governor Akpabio when he sought to be reelected for a Third term.

Reacting to the event some members of his senatorial district who spoke with our reporters said it was both shameful and embarrassing. That after 8years of representation, he has only a gift
from Samsung to show..
