You are totally right.
I see that coming. Jagaban is just too greezy. Fashola will play a big role in our National development in the coming years.

Its really hilarious how these GEJ apologist Igbos keep ranting about Buhari planning to somehow cut the out of his govenrment or refuse to do any projects in their region. But last time i checked Buhari never said he'll do any of that and he keeps saying he wants to include the SE in his government. And what does he get in return? well more hatred apparently. Oh well ill just be content with the fact that one person doesnt reflect the opinion of the whole tribe.

And how ldiotic are you to judge Buhari based on what some random people are saying online? Are they Buhari? Do they represent him in anyway? Ugh!
Buhari isn't going to do everything himself. His minions, especially the overzealous ones have to be put in check to counter any vendetta motive. Hence, the reminder to not neglect any region.

"No regrets rejecting the APC at the polls by the South East.

North West did not vote Jonathan in 2011, yet they got Speaker House of Reps, Defence minister, National security Adviser, Inspector General of Police, External affairs minister, Education minister, Chief Justice of Federation etc."

The immediate future will prove if the "equity, fairness and justice" we chorus in our anthems are just mere musical verses. cheesy

I like people who stand by their words. Kudos. GEJ should have done more for the SE. I just hope Buhari won't be vindictive to reject them. They are a vitalnforce in nation building

Dude, everyone made their choice at the ballot box and that's done. Anyone expecting an apology for voting according to our conviction is wasting his time. The new govt MUST complete and start new projects in ALL regions. It's not an option.

Then live with your choice and stop expecting the constitution to change for the SE.

My dear if you don't know a new government is in town and things are witnessing a great turn around of which the educational sector is atop the beneficiaries, so I'll advice you come home soon and get employed as a headmistress in one of these LGEAs in Rijau, Niger State.

I look forward to seeing you soon!
Cheers.

Why are people laughing and saying nonsense?. The worst he can do is
1. Cancel all FG projects in the East.

2. Exclude Igbos from all ministerial posts as he did during his days in uniform.

3. Selectively witch-hunt and jail Igbo politicians with EFCC and protect his Hausa-Fulani brothers.

4. Make toxic economic policies against legitimate Igbo businessmen as he did while he was a former head of state.

4.Heavily Militarize the East of the Niger.

....and more

How this will make the North and the West better than the East is what i am waiting to see?

The future of Nigeria is pregnant. What it will bear we don't know. But i know born Survivalists (Igbos) will survive. Let's watch and and see.

The incoming administration should not use their victory to settle scores, rather they should use it to unite this nation.

Appointments should be made based on merit, integrity...etc, and not based on past grudges with a particular ethnic group.

Truth is Nigeria cannot move forward if we embrace a particular ethnic group and castigate another.

Buhari said it times without number that he's government is going into intensive restructuring of the nations power, academic, sport, agriculture...etc sector. And to achieve this, we have to be united and work together.

To those who said igbos betrayed the yorubas, you should know that this is democracy, every one has the right to vote whoever he wishes to vote. We joined forces with the south west in 2011 to install GEJ but he failed us. Unfortunately most south easterners preferred to give him a second chance rather than embrace change. It was their choice. The media should stop making it look as if we committed a great sin by voting GEJ.

To my fellow igbos. Well I've said this and I will say it again. Jonathan's administration was of no benefit to the south east. It only enriched a few of our leaders, but had no positive impact on the majority; its time we unite and embrace the new administration.

BUHARI should not use it to settle scores. And all APC supporters should recover from their hangover from the victory of the election.

What else can u expect. Even I won't be surprised when those that deceived Jeg to second term will be lobbying for position in Gmb administration.

Well in the sprit of national integration GMB should consider track record and competency in appointing any aid. He should also reduce their salary drastically. As they should see this as opportunity to serve the nation not to share national cake.
Re: Buhari’s Victory: Jostling For Positions Begin by Chinom(m): 12:23pm On Apr 05, 2015
Like I said earlier, Yoruba's will end up holding the wrong end of the stick with Buhari. They will be shocked at how Buhari will sidetrack them. GMB knows that Tinubu financed his election with STOLEN public fund. He will not be in a hurry to reward him for that after all that shout about fighting corruption.
Buhari also knows that Tinubu and APC cannot achieve their aim without him as presidential candidate. It was a pre-condition for the merger of CPC and ACN. Hence, I don't think Buhari owes Tinubu anything. GMB may eventually appoint qualified non-politicians as ministers.

As for Igbos losing out ?. Hell NO. Igbo technocrats will play a major role in GMB's administration just like they did in OBJ's. There is absolutely no regrets in voting for GEJ. We felt and still feel that he was the best of the two. History will vindicate Ndigbo and SS people.

That Senate president seat is inconsequential for Igbo people. I would prefer we are give a powerful ministerial post. A senate president cannot effect any tangible change.

16 people endorsed this hogwash? Then Captain Allison Madueke who was appointed military administrator of Anambra state was what tribe? Dikko that was put in a box and headed for Nigeria was what tribe? Make toxic economic policies? Hahahahaha.

Humor us, what did GEJ do for the SE in 5 years? He fixed the Enugu Port? He rehabilitated the roads linking Anambra to Enugu? He built the second Niger bridge? He created favourable economic policies?

BY 2023 or even before then if Buhari is incapacitated, Yemi Osibanjo will stand as the presidential flag bearer of APC following the right of succession. Will the Yoruba votes be enough to give him victory?

This will be interesting because he will definitely be facing an Hausa-Fulani opponent from Kano or Sokoto. (Ndigbo will certainly prepare such grounds). With an Igbo VP backed sentimentally by the majority in the south.

In that situation, will the Almajiris bypass a young Hausa Fulani from Kano or Sokoto to vote for a pastor?

The game is just begininng
