I am a graduate of Optometry, University of Benin. Almost a year after graduating in flying colors from the 6 year course, I still can't find a space to do my compulsory 1 year Internship. So I'm calling on Nairalanders, if you have any info on Hospitals, govt or private that take interns in Optometry, either North or South, kindly assist. Thanks.

Try University Of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada. According To A Neighbour (Optometry Intern Too) There Are More Than Ten Of Them There, With Some Rounding Up To Proceed On The Service Year. This Should Create Some Space For New Intakes. Best Of Luck.

does uniben take Direct entry optometry? And do they do exams? Also pls wht r d likelihood of admission

Yes they take direct entry, they do post direct entry exam. Can't say much about chances but I think average chance if you do well in the exam.
