Still it doesn't matter, what matters is the actual visitors to the site.

Adsense work by internet traffic.

If this is da case, Nairaland is not making money thru Adsense than.

Internet traffic is the coming and going of both registered and unregistered visitors to a site

Coming to nairaland there are more unregistered visitors who doesn't care to register.

An unregistered visitor may not visit the site again in the next one month and at the same time u still get numerous others visiting which is still unregistered visitors

Look at the pictures below

U will see guest surpass those registered visitor, so u dont calculate by members only but by Internet traffic

But stats say dat da TOTAL daily users (guest + visitors) is 1.5 million compared to 82 million Nigerian internet users..

No it is you who dont understand. Alexa n SimilarWeb track the DAILY TRAFFIC ( guests + members). That is where Im getting my stats from.

I think by 'on the internet' they mean 'have access to internet'. Doesn't mean 82million daily internet users. The total number of daily users should not be much more than 5 million(since almost everyone uses Google as a search engine). [s]Also NL's visitors can't be much more than its members.[/s]

So it's more like, 5 million daily internet users, 3 million on NL and the remaining 2 on Facebook, whatsapp/BBM/2go(it still counts as internet usage), pornhub etc...

Edit: Apparently, there are more visitors than I expected(2xmembers)

Definitey A Great Comment. OkayO now I understand. So y wont d others who have access 2 da internet, get on it?

My view is that nairaland needs to upgrade....some people are claiming guest or visitors...the truth is that unless certain platforms are added ..it won't increade ....like chat for example....and please there are too many kids here...insults and tribal missles flying around...the mods have to be more firm....instead of thinking of generating traffic ,they should be more concerned about the quality of their platform

I guess not a lot of people can afford data plans for daily usage and WIFI(if their mobile devices have it) networks are scarce.
