My elder bros complained of chest pain yesterday so he went to d hospital,they conducted a test and when the result came out today it read that he had lencopenia of which d doctor told him it's a normal,so he expected a drug prescription but d doctor played over it by asking him if he wants him to give him paracetamol or panadol, now he is worried and he wants to know what that condition LENCOPENIA meansso I decided to bring d case to able Doctors in the house to pls explain what it means o,my bro is restless and curious. Ur answers r highly needed. Thanks

Leukopenia simply means low white cell count. While there are a number of conditions that can lead to that, I reckon that the doctor has considered the values as well as his clinical presentation before coming to the conclusion that there is no cause for alarm. My advice is that he listens to his doctor. If he is very sick, however, he could consider seeing another.

leaukopenia or lenkopenia, i dnt know of any lenkopenia ,but if it were the later the doc need to tell you more,maybe in his own dictionary, leaukopenia is decreased white cell count which is observed in white cell count/differentials or being part of full blood count
For me, i would love to ask for any clinical symptoms or test done.

Thanks for ur contributions, u were both right, it's leukopenia he wanted to say because when I asked for d name of d test he went for his response was full blood count.he is not very sick either but just little pains now even without any medication
