my vet didnt tell me the actual cause of what happened to my first dog that died,
actually i think it was late deworming,
all you mentioned here is the same experience with my dog,
there is nothing you can do right now, you said 3 days, that was same with mine, she died the fourth day
be prepared bro,it too late now, if you have faith, then ask God.
i never stop praying for my dogs.
coz when i bought another pups, the same shit happened again...the last option was to pray with my peeps..believe me it works..
if he is still standing, get him enough glucose mixed with milk and feed him with syringe nonstop

Was he given all his required vaccines as a pup? I hope this is not the dreaded parvovirus-The general symptoms of parvovirus are lethargy, severe vomiting, loss of appetite and bloody, foul-smelling diarrhea that can lead to life-threatening dehydration- I got that from webmd. Ask your vet to tell you the real situation.

Sorry parvovirus has no cure. The affected animal eventually dies sad. That's why I suggested that you tell your vet to open up and stop charging you unnecessarily.

But if it's not the virus you can try human medication. There was a time our dog was so sick and didn't eat for almost a week. He spent an entire weekend at the vets after which he was discharged (to come home and die I guess). Someone suggested that we give him vit B complex and milk which we did. By the following day he started eating and playing again. Within two weeks, he had gained back all the weight. Imagine after spending thousands of naira, he eventually got saved with N20 vitamin B complex.

If your dog was well vaccinated, then you probably fed it bones too early. I always advise people never to feed pups with bones especially chicken bones. Bones rupture their internals leading to bleeding and eventual death.

I believe your dog would survive, just make sure you keep him hydrated and pls do stay away from your other dogs for d main time. In case it is truly parvo bfre contact with the dog u shld always wear latex gloves nd wash ur bodi with any bleach reagent. I pray he survives so u dnt av to grieve. Parvo affected dogs still survive
Re: My Dog Is Dyeing, Help!!! by Prodeegee(m): 7:52am On Jun 23, 2015
If your vet is really serious, your dog will survive.

I treated 4dogss with Parvo at a go, and they all made it.

Just tell your vet to always administer glucose water...twice a day. Like 200ml. And then metronidazole drip also.

It needs persistence. Eventually your dog will pass out a very smelling bloody discharge. If your dog does this, it's close to being well.
