Op, didn't see the need of reminding someone of the reasons why he wants to leave by pointing starvation.

All the same, let every agitation be free of bloodshed. Who knows we might be better apart.

I had to point it out...though it might feel kind of harsh, but if they are to be taken serious, they should stop riding off someone else's d1.ck...the way they've been going about it. If they really want something, they should stop trying to force other persons to joining their cause.
If they really want to be independent, they should start now..

Then why does the mere mention of it scare you guys ?

Muslim section is hilarious! I can't believe I have to accept some conditions to allowed to comment on the muslim section.

Creating a Biafra section will be good as well.

@op the one thing that stands out from your writing is that Biafra advocate should not be allowed on NL ( forget the coy : creating a 'special' section for them).

Op at this age and time, I think people are allowed to air their views ( but then we have to make a distinction between airing ones' view and the call for anarchy) more especially in a forum like NL.

Relegating them to a special section is indirectly empowering them and banning them from NL on the other hand is providing fertile ground for their "struggle" (whatever that maybe).

I am an advocate of allowing people to air their view publicly more especially in a forum like NL, this will avail people with good intentions to counter them by pointing out the flaws in their struggle, thereby educating the gullible ones. Allowing them to run amok in the background will actually give them the opportunity to 'infest' the unformed mind and banning them completely will create sympathy, am sure you can attest to that with what is happening up north.

Meanwhile it is quite pathetic that in order to express your frustration you had to bring up the issue of the civil war and how their children and women were starved blah blah.
Rubbish

You can simply ignore the threads. Won't that be the simplest solution?

They actually are in deep fear of the better south leaving them in their one Nijeriya.

They are playing the ostrich but burying their heads in the sand here on Nairaland will not stop Biafra from forming.

Rather than start genuine reconciliation with the SS and SE they are still believing in a dead nation set to turn into a failed state.

I am waiting for Buhari to play his northern card when appointing his ministers, maybe then will they see how foolish they played into the northern game plan.

I find it very hypocritical for you the OP of this thread to tag the Nairaland Pro-biafrans as the ones constituting Nuisance n this forum. while in truth the reverse is the case, since I started closely at Ethnic politics section and I discovered that Non Igbos and Anti-Biafrans create tons and tons of threads saying lots of things, and I discovered that most times the pro biafrans only defend them selves and throw back their own insults. infact I saw one of the anti-biafrasn saying Nnamdi Kanu must be killed.

can you imagine? well that's how things are run in nigeria

Not that the Nnamdi Kanu dude has committed any 'Crime' according to our laws(you can correct me),if at all he did, not on Nigerian soil.
