I'm about to get one of these SUV but i do not have any idea about how reliable they are in Nigeria, Please which one do you think is the best and if you have another SUV in mind entirely pls share

They are both made by the same parent company Nissan. It is notorious for its unreliability, unnecessarily expensive parts. If you cannot find a Toyota or Honda, go and bank your money.

Op, both cars are made my Nissan, Infiniti is the luxury version of murano which means its got better gadgets, better leather abs better overall ride. Stay away from the first generation murano as it is notorious for transmission failure. The recent generations have improved though. If I have to choose between the 2, I'll choose the Infiniti, its more aggressive and better looking plus more luxurious. A bit expensive to maintain though.

Truth is that they are both problematic cars and the parts of the infiniti are unnecessarily expensive. Though the infiniti is very sporty fun to drive and has very good looks i won't advice you buy it if you want to enjoy the car for a long time.

Go for infiniti fx35. The murano has transmission that needs more care (CVT).

If you know the parts are expensive can you give us 5 parts on the car that is expensive the price and that of a Honda and Toyota or Lexus

I presently own a 2008 fx35, since february 2013. so i guess im in a position to tell you all you need to know about the beast. it is not a car for everyone, like a camry or an accord. its for a special class; so if you believe you belong to that class, then you are most welcome.

iv always changed cars every 2 years; from 2003 accord (2009 to 2011) to 2007 accord (2011 to 2013) to my present 2008 fx35. its over 2 years now, and i feel so reluctant to sell it. its gets more fun to drive everyday. it hasnt gone out of fashion yet; still a head turner everywhere i drive to.

pros:
lovely interior,
attention drawing exterior,
rugged VQ35 nissan engine (best nissan engine, u can google it),
super fast,
the famous exhaust growl,
technology yakata inside (intelligent criuse control, lane departure warning etc)
Bose audio system (the ride is a mobile party banger)
fuel consumption in highway driving is ok. full tank of 90litres can do 500km if i dont rev above 3000rpm

cons:
parts are a bit on the high side but then, its not meant for everyone like i said before
fuel consumption in city driving is poor, but then its not meant for everyone like i said before
cant count how many time police have stopped me, probably cos the car has this bad boy look. i just show my papers and move on
dashboard cracks when exposed to heat for long periods

here are my suggestions if you want to get the best out of ur fx35:
buy 2006-2008 model; ignore the older model if you can
buy ORIGINAL parts, i buy my parts from amazon, expensive? yes. but then its not meant for everyone like i said before
get the one with a reverse camera, car has lots of rear blind spots
pls pls insure your car. why? one headlight costs 250k at ladipo, so imagine if one danfo or keke.......
protect ur dashboard with sunscreen when parked for long periods

Oga forget, u are saying what u like, not what is practical. Lincoln mkx for naija lol. That is why nobody replied u because u must be a big joker to advice someone to buy that in naija unless u are some politician that have money to burn. It's not as if it is more expensive than a Lexus RX or Infiniti fx but its not not practical to use on this part of the world.

Now back to Ford edge. Even the limited is still no match for fx35. U realize the last fx35 was made in 2010 right so don't put a 2015 Ford edge against it. The fx is more responsive, faster, more aggressive, handles better, has better gadgets and made of more premium material than the Ford edge. The only place the Ford edge triumphs is that it has a little better fuek economy and quieter cabin. On top of all that, parts are still expensive and scarce and fx is even more reliable.

Let us just say the sales numbers of Murano has gone down because another model of crossover has been outselling the Murano and a limited version of that same model has been a stiff competition for the FX that Infiniti changes the name every year you done even know what to call the model you just bought by the time you drive it home. There was FX35,JX35,QX30,QX60,and QX70 within 3 years don't even know which one is what anymore.

The idea is if you can't get a car in a segment you get the other best selling competition and apart from Ford edge their is the Venza, Crosstour, and ZDX all discontinued because they don't sell

For your purpose of use, i would like recommend you the trucks. Recently i purchased the greatest truck Ford F-150, its accelerates like a best, has good comfort and better convenience items, and feels safer driving on my regions. Stuns will give you a superior position and ride. Mechanically, I would go for a tuner in the first place, before fumes. With a tune, you'll see the greatest distinction in execution.

I drive a 2005 Infiniti FX35 and its a great Ride. The acceleration is wonderful and it sounds like a power bike when moving. I have also driven a friends Nissan Murano and trust me the Murano is nothing close to the Infiniti Fx35. Besides infiniti is the luxury arm of Nissan so expect the inifiniti models to be well packed with gadgets compared to the Nissan murano.
