They aren't united like how all the governors in the south-west didn't attend Ooni of Ife's Burial.

Imagine the Ooni of Ife, a first class Royal king was shunned by dignitaries in the south-west. I guess that is Unity.

you cannot buy yoruba land. the land is leased at 100 year intervals. after 100 years you will be kicked out. the lease can also be terminated. you own the house on the land not the land. you can never own yoruba land. yoruba are too smart for that.when the land lease gets terminated your house will be bulldozed from the land and transported back to aba for you

Let me release one secret you do not have enough sense to understand:.
As you lease Yoruba land for us to hold for 100 years and make profit, while you watch from the side lines, by 100 years, you must have become too poor but we too rich, such that you have little or no more say over your land.
Mugu, your best bet is to do eyes right while Biafra goes, so that you shall have all your Yoruba land to yourself.

you are very stu-pid. this is how civilized countries grow. they lease their land to industrious foreigners to bring their money over to develop their land. its how new york and london have developed. most of those lands are leased to foreigners. even gatwick airport has been leased to a yoruba man. while you are busy bringing money to lagos and building our land for us, your land in east remains undeveloped. you are helping us. and when it is time we will kick you out. the land is controlled by yoruba dignataries who know what they are doing. all the spare parts you are selling-instead of using the money to build the east,we lease you our land so you use it to build south-west. mumu. and then we can collect property tax and all kinds of taxes from you having your structure on our land and we will use that money to develop lagos further. can you see you are in slavery to us ? you beautifty our land by building your house on our land and then we tax you for building your house on our land and we use that money to further beautify our land. do you see yoruba smartness ?

In Yoruba land an Oba is not supposed to play politics as it will divide the people of the community that he reign over; if an Oba is loyal to one political party, what happen to him & his supporters if the candidate he support losses? That is what happened in Oni's case as he had always openly supported PDP; if PDP had won in Lagos Oba Akinolu would have had issue with the PDP but I still believe Oba Akinolu who is related to the PDP governorship candidate played a fast one on APC thinking it will favour PDP( my thoughts).

Not too long ago did Nnamdi Azikiwe died, now, not so many people could remember him, nor his first son. People couldn't care less, not even the federal government cared.
The moral of this is, "IT SHALL COME TO PASS"
Very soon, only in history books we will hear about them.
Be careful how you are live your life.

Foolish man. When a Londoner or New Yorker leases his land to a buyer, he does not turn back to call the person to whom he leased the land a stranger.

You Yoruba lease your land and collect money from Igbo, you turn back and call the Igbo who bought the land a stranger in his property - and you still clamour for one Nigeria. Crazy

listen we have thousands of acres of bush land going to waste. Lagos needs your favor. go to the south-east and tell all the rich ndigbos that we have thousands of acres of land for lease and they should bring all their wealth. we will give them all 100 year leases on the land and they can pay 50 million each per plot because it is not far from eko atlantis. it is prime land. and they will pay annual tax on the land too. so spread the word. we want to develop every inch of lagos but we need alaigbo money to do it. grin grin
