President Buhari has expressed his deep and sincere condolences to families of the dead and injured in yesterday's blast in Abuja and other parts of the country. President Buhari has also assured of his administration's commitment in the fight against terrorism in Nigeria.

"My heart goes out to the families of the dead and injured in Abuja, and other parts of the country." -the words of President Muhammadu Buhari according to the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Media and Publicity , Garba Shehu

A delegation from the Presidency comprising of Chief of Staff Abba Kyari, Secretary to the Government of the Federation Babachir David Lawal and others visited scenes of the bomb blast and hospitals where the injured are being treated. See photos below'

I'd expect Abuja to be heavily secured by now cause of the heavy concenteration of security forces there,yet intelligence gathering is the most under-utilized weapon against Boko Haram in Abuja,It is the seat of power for crying out loud..

The military should step up intesive security of Abuja,and DSS,DIA should face
intelligence gathering to counter this bombings.

The last time a bomb went off in ABJ was April 2014 meaning that GEJ kept them away for 13months before ceding power to Buhari but Buhari could barely keep Abuja safe for 4 months because he has turned our DSS to Daura Secret Service.
