The highly moronnic monorail project is left hanging after billions have been wasted and embezzled. This is a more brazen display of corruption than maduekwe.

Shut ur trap and stick with what u know. The first phase of the monorail is 90% complete and it's on ground for all in rivers to see. Am still not in support of the project however only a fool will claim money for project has been diverted when there is so much on ground at azikwe Road. Stop being pathetically gullible by believing hopeless pictures being displayed. Till date wike hasn't gone to court about it against him even omereji panel didn't find Amaechi culpable on the project.

kid I don't normally respond to online ranting by people like you. You served in rivers state but I live and pay tax in rivers state for the last 17yrs so I know rivers state better than you do. Once again Amaechi is not corrupt those accusing him should name his properties and companies and also tell the people how they became millionaire. For your gun go and give it back to those who use you to win election before the long arms of law catch up with you.

If buhari nominate The rotimi amaechi as a minister, if we can remind what president said in newspaper that he did't appoint whoseever accused for stealing the funds of the nation.amaechi will never be a minister by God willing.

People tend to forget what Amechi represent to APC. Amechi was the campaign DG of APC(presidential) successful presidential election. I wonder why some people expect him not to sail through the senate screening without much hitch.Most APC senators are not from SS or SE that vilify him. Majority of people outside SS and SE love him. APC has the highest number of senators. He will sail through-

You made lot of sense. Amaichi took a leap no minding what lies ahead. No corrupt personnel will risk fighting the incumbent when he wasn't sure of what the future hold.

I have no doubt on my mind that he will surpass expectation judging from the way he disregard the former head of state due to corruption and incompetence.

Those calling for Amaichi's head are hypocrites waving aside the misappropriation that hamper development in their respective states. I don't expect any dick from Abia, Anambra, Delta or Imo to raise eye brow over what happen in Rivers taking into consideration that Amaichi's performance override the collective effort of these Governors put together.

Happening now on NTA!!!

Senator Sekibo from Rivers State began by demanding to submit the petition against the former governor of Rivers State which was, according to him, "signed by many associates".

Various members of the senate however kicked against it by interrupting Senator Sekibo chanting "No, no, no,no", in condemnation of the petition.

Sittings has been adjourned till tomorrow, 10 a.m prompt.

Just my thought too, I doubt he would be given that position, dambazau will likely clinch that portfolio since buhari would prefer a retired military officer to hold sway at that office. Fashola will likely get work's and amaechi will sure be given a very good position matching in his capabilities considering his selflessness, boldness to the dethroning of the inept GEJ's administration. It wasn't an easy task a governor achieves easily and go scot free, one tinubu prides himself in that too during Obasanjo's regime.

Loved across what parties? Same pussycat of Ubime that is thoroughly despised by even his own kinsmen in Rivers? That there's a petition from his own state is even clear indication that he is the no 1 hated figure in Rivers.
