Some ear buds models feature cables where one side of the cable is longer than the other.
These are called "asymmetrical" cables and it is a deliberate design.

The longer side of the cable goes behind the neck to the other side of the head and into the
ear, so instead of having a two cables hang in front of a user in a 'Y' configuration, an asymmetrical
configuration only has one single cable that is off to the side where it is out of the way.
It is recommended to route the cable above the ear and then down into the ear canal.
The cable exiting the ear bud should be pointing up.

initially I wasn't ok with it, I gave it a try once, and again and again untill I got so so used to it.

I feel it gives me a better sound.

great design. I always use it whenever I wanna hide my earpiece, then I use my braids or weavon to cover the rest of the earpiece showing.

Nice, I never knew. I use this pattern when I'm washing or doing something in front of me that I've to bend, I dislike the cords dancing up and down, and most times I own same length cords.
