For German cars such as Mercedes, french cars such as peugeot you can find their Cold Tyre Pressure specs in fuel cap, glove compartment.

Thanks bro.... Some of those stickers have been removed due to use or tear...

Some car owners don't know the risk of over-inflated/under-inflated tyres.

So, we need to enlighten ourselves.

You all need to know that its not same PSI a Sienna bus and a Camry uses.
Your PSI depends on your car's body weight.
Be enlightened!

Wrong. The recommended pressures don't depend solely on your vehicle's body weight. It also depends on:

Wheel size.
Tyre profile.
Suspension type.
Engine output.
Tyre construction (number of plies).

You state body weight, which is WRONG. Let me give you some examples:

2015 Toyota Hilux 3.0 Invincible, Double Cabin.
Power output: 169hp.
Wheel size: 8x17.
Tyre size: 265/65x17.
Kerb weight: 2030 kgs.
Tyre pressure: 29 psi.

2013 Toyota Prius HSD.
Power output: 134hp.
Wheel size: 6.5x15.
Tyre size: 195/65x15.
Kerb weight: 1370 kgs.
Tyre pressure: 36 psi.

2012 Honda CBR100RR Fireblade.
Power output: 127hp.
Wheel size: 17" front & rear.
Tyre size (front): 120/70ZR17.
Tyre size (rear): 195/50ZR17.
Kerb weight: 175 kgs.
Tyre pressure (front): 36 psi.
Tyre pressure (rear): 42 psi.

It is because users erroneously go by their vehicle's size and mass, that there are so many cases of over-inflated tyres. You are probably guilty of the same.

Lol.... I used body weight as an example but not as an authority on its own.

You are right though, my 2001 Chevy venture is P215/70R15: 35PSI.

If I'm guilty as charged (lol) I wouldn't tell fellow drivers to check their recommended PSI before inflating their tyres.

Anyways! Thanks for the correction.

More contributions please.

One thing I noticed from your post, the bigger the weight, the smaller the PSI.. That's incredible.

There's no way it can be 40PSI... Is it a trailer?

Again...you can't go by the size of a car to determine correct tyre pressure. I doubt this car in question is recommended to run tyre pressures that high, but...

My car's recommended tyre pressures are 36psi unladen, and 42psi with 4 adults on board. It's an '00 Audi A4 2.8 V6 Quattro Sport.

This car has been a HUGE money pit
Extreme corrosion on the underside and body panels i have worked on the body thrice within 5 years because of rust
Tho the engine and transmission never fails, more like its built to last
my auto sliding doors are not working
my rear air suspension is dead , she looks like a low-rider lol grin
Oxygen sensor failure,
Catalytic converter failure
Greatest engine issue i had was the Rocker arm failure, the threads get worn out and they require a heli-coil that is common in 90% of the 3400cc gm engines
ABS wheel sensor replacement

The headlights got really poor after 2yrs of purchase, very very dull even after changing the bulbs and whole headlight set,

Gas mileage is around 11mpg it will wreck your pocket if you are not financially stable,

the temperature guage gets close to red sometimes,

I just love the Acceleration she's faster than my pilot self and air conditioning is really crazy tooo

More errors. Looks like you're basing your values on a mixture of internet findings and assumptions. None of those cars are mine.

If you've made mistakes with Audi, I can guarantee if I call up main dealerships of the other makes and models you've provided data for, there will be discrepancies. I travel extensively, sometimes through different countries in Continental Europe, sometimes exceeding 19 hours and 3,400 miles for a single journey with my family on board.

Cruising at speeds of 100mph, sometimes reaching speeds of 140mph on the Autobahn. Do you honestly think I would rely on online tyre pressure data for these trips?

If there is a brand I know like the back of my hand, it's the VAG brand.

My cars are all Quattro, and the tyre pressures differ from those of FWD models. I go by the values in my Owner's Manual, also repeated in the fuel filler flap.

No one knows the best settings for a particular model better than the manufacturers themselves. It would appear you know better than Audi themselves. I repeat - there are several factors that determine the optimum tyre pressure settings for a vehicle. Mass in service is just one of them.

Here is the inside of the fuel filler flap of one of my vehicles. This is a 2000 Audi A4 2.5 V6 TDI Quattro:
