He has just recently done his thumb printing, submitted all his documents and passport.

Lexinels:
I recently read about Canada's pgwp & I'd like to ask; if I should study a 1yr course which leads to getting 1 year work permit, can I put in for another 1yr programme & still be granted 3yrs work permit as applicable to the 2yrs of study.

Secondly, can I complete a 2yr program in about 8months by combining semesters, thereby reducing the duration?

Thirdly, can I start a part time job while in school?

Thks

Firstly you have to do the two(one-year) programmes consecutively to be eligible for a a 3yr post graduate work permit

Secondly that's solely dependent on your school which I believe is not possible anyway

Then lastly you are eligible to work 20hrs per week part time work during session and as long as possible during breaks

Please you guys should read from previous chapters these questions have been answered times without number

Thank you

Pls house, Is 3.54/5.0 up to 77% (B+). Cos this prof said they strictly admit that.. Tho after evaluation from wes its 3.15/4.0

thesoj, sholay2011, ayotoluwani, berexio1 and others.
Based on your WES evaluation 3.15/4 is 78 percent. I don't know if you got this by doing the last 2yrs alone tho!

You can have a backup plan just incase.

Cheers!

True for the most part. But in my intended school, univ of Regina, you can transfer from an MEng to Msc program or get admitted to a Phd programme with an MEng by taking additional courses.

I suggest you check wether that is possible in your intended school.

Cheers.
Thanks a lot boss, I'm also going to university of Regina. which program did u apply for?

I don't know what u meant by "if I got this by doing the last 2 semester". I sent my transcript to WES for evaluation, (a skol in USA requires WES evaluation). My undergraduate cgpa is 3.54(second class upper)/5.0 BUT after WES evaluation, it is 3.15/4.0.
Tho my last 2sememter GPA was good cos I started so very baaaad..

Hi All, I am new to this forum but taken some time to read through some few pages. I have some concern which i will like to share here.
I recently apply for my master degree program in two canadian university and hoping to get admission, i am trying to get my self pepare for the visa application.
My concern is these:
I recently got denied by US embassy and what i filled there was that i am married and i also inflated my salary, now this is giving me concern because i heard US and Canada share information. Now should i stick with marital status for canada visa processing, also as regard my salary, should i stick with the amount i stated earlier in US visa processing; meanwhile my statement is very empty.
I intend to use someone has a sponsor.

Pls share with me how i can go about it

thanks

12 work days in all. Thanks to you all that have contributed to this thread in one way or the other. Special thanks to Team12, I never contacted you but knowing we have similar circumstances I followed your posts closely. Wishing all TRV hopefuls same success stories. Just put in your best in your application and leave the rest to God. While packaging your application, put yourself in the position of a VO and give detailed explanation and support documents to answer any question/clarification you think they may need.

Time to go search for accommodation and alternate child care center. The waitlist seems to be on snail speed.

What flights are cheap with shorter layovers?

Brother, it's better you come out plain and honest in this new application for Canada visa. Though both countries share information, but the kind of information they share in this context is mostly related to security/background checks. I wanna believe you don't have any serious criminal record;even at that, please declare it.
Also, remember that this is an online forum, visa officers do read comments on forums. FYI, U.S. Visa officer/ representatives are here on Nairaland.

I can assure you of one thing, there are great people on this thread, and they are ready to support you from their wealth of experience.

I will advise you to state your marital status as it is. I don't think Canadian Embassy will check on US embassy to ask if a Dude is married or not. Since you don't have have any serious criminal record and you have never being a threat to the security/peace of any country, no be your type dem go dey dig classified information about. Same thing applies to your salary story, why on earth will any embassy ask the other about the salary of a visa applicant, when such applicant has submitted documents that could be used to judge the situation?

Please be honest in your new application.
