Okorocha Has Abandoned Imo For His Son-in-law, He Should Resign – Onuegbu by DONSMITH123(m): 8:09am On Oct 19, 2015
A former Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Imo State, Enyinnaya Onuegbu yesterday asked Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha to either settle down and provide real governance for the state or resign.

The PDP chieftain who stated this while speaking with journalists in Owerri, the state capital, claimed that Okorocha had abandoned his duties as a governor to promote his personal political ambitions.

Onuegbu claimed that the governor had left the state in the hands of his son-in-law, who is his chief of staff.

“A situation where the governor abdicates his office and prefers junketing from one state to the other, promoting his personal political ambition, leaving the running of the state to his son-in-law, who is his chief of staff, is unacceptable to the people of the state.

“Okorocha is running Imo like a sole administrator of a private business. Five months into his second term, there is no state executive, no advisers and more worrisome is that the House of Assembly has been more on recess than on legislative business.”

hmmm, i think i agreed with Mr Enyinnaya Onuegbu. Okorocha enjoyed moving from state to state these days and has left the people of Imo state.

He should not only resign but give reasons for appointing his inlaw as his chief of staff.

I knew that Rochas Okorocha's second tenure as a governor would be disastrous! Even his body language few months to the election was a proof.. Ikedi Ohakim's tenure was better... Imo state is now a mess... Rochas and Roche Contractors duped imolites with their substandard roads that couldnt even last upto 3yrs... Everyone knows he is grooming his son-in-law to take over from him in 2019 but he will receive a shocker...
